Hughesy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 so you not only are bezzie mates with gally, dunny and zurab but you rub shoulders with man u players.stoke players ..kooool. Im simply pointing out reality in wages - something you seem to bury your head in the sand too, and shoot down in flames, yet you have no reason too. Why would any experienced premier league centre half be on less than 20k? It just doesnt happen (new teams excluded)
RoyRover Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I would rot him for a month, then he will realize his WC dream is going out of the window and come crawling back. Enough with player power. The board need to make an example out of him but wont let us buy anyone unless we sell him or someone. My feelings exactly. Player power has really gone too far. You signed a contract, stop crying about no getting a move and play until we decide if we will sell you!

nicko Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 It's totally mental out there. Will try to make some sense of it for an 11 o'clocker.
Iceman Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 This whole transfer window is getting ridiculous now. The rumours started with Ibricic, and now its starting again with Ibricic. Who were we linked with after him, Kevin Davies?
imy9 Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Player power rules: Benni wants to move and join West Ham, fails to turn up for training and is overweight, refusing to do extra sessions... that is Sam's fault? Hoillet comes from the second division in Germany having scored a mighty total of 6 goals and has not scored for Rovers despite good chances and wants to play striker.. he has no skill on the ball and cannot get past them with skill.. oh and has been offered a superb contract by Rovers... all of this is Sam's fault. Finally David Dunn- the man who is constantly injured... plays the best football in years under Sam is out of contract and I am sure Rovers will be offering him either a shorter deal/lower wages.. so he may be off... again Sam's fault. Sam is no angel but the above three players highlight player power and the fact that there is no loyalty in football. Each of the above may use Sam as an excuse but the reality is that money talks and Rovers as a club does not mean much to them if they choose to leave.
Hughesy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 FACT WHAT EACH PLAYER IS ON ..alls im asking is how do you know? Not every player I said I know for fact, just some.... Gally - He told us Abdulah Faye - His brother will tell anyone that wants to listen (Works in bolton town centre) Ressie player from United - Again he was bragging whilst on holiday in Ibiza....so too where his mates & he had a payslip on him to prove it - Big Headed I know!
Iceman Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 It's totally mental out there. Will try to make some sense of it for an 11 o'clocker. How do you think we feel Mr Nixon?
ABBEY Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Not every player I said I know for fact, just some.... Gally - He told us....SO IF HAD SAID HE WAS ON 100 POUND A WEEK IT WOULD BE GOSPEL? Abdulah Faye - His brother will tell anyone that wants to listen (Works in bolton town centre).....SEE ABOVE Ressie player from United - Again he was bragging whilst on holiday in Ibiza....so too where his mates & he had a payslip on him to prove it - Big Headed I know!.......SEE ABOVE... ALL RUMOUR AND NO WAGE SLIPS apart from one reserve player who took his slip on holiday ,HUGHSEY IM ON £200,000 A WEEK ..shhhhh dont tell the csa tho.
Hughesy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 ALL RUMOUR AND NO WAGE SLIPS apart from one reserve player who took his slip on holiday , HUGHSEY IM ON £200,000 A WEEK ..shhhhh dont tell the csa tho. I only need to read what you put on here to know thats not true Rumours...ok if you say thats fine - So how much do you believe Zurab is on at Rovers then? Id just like to see what you believe......
savage90 Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Matt Derbyshire was on 13k per weak plus a combined appearance and goal bonus of 4k, earning him a potential 17k per week. Thats the only fact i know regarding wages at Rovers. Perhaps that puts things in perspective.
ABBEY Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 like i said it doesnt matter what i believe hes on ,i just dont care.Im not paying him. csa safe then?
Backroom Tom Posted January 25, 2010 Backroom Posted January 25, 2010 ALL RUMOUR AND NO WAGE SLIPS apart from one reserve player who took his slip on holiday ,HUGHSEY IM ON £200,000 A WEEK ..shhhhh dont tell the csa tho. Screw BT design I'm moving to openreach. Actually I don't fancy a van with a tracker in. At least it looks like there's movement now, anything to relieve the boredom of this window

LeChuck Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Someone else posted this elsewhere, but I can't seem to find it. From BBC Gossip: 1250 GMT: South Korea international Ku Ja-cheol believes his chances of joining Blackburn Rovers are '50-50' after the Jeju United midfielder revealed his representatives have started talks over a possible switch. (Press Association) Here's a video of him: Seems to have an excellent passing range.

I know some will talk about the standard of the league and that in a much tougher league he would get far less time on the ball but if he can spray the ball around like that in this league he could be a good addition to the squad. Sam will have seen on trial whether he can do that on a pitch with premier league players.
broadsword Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 means 0% of ethel until he's performing in the premiership. Youtube could probably make Keith look good.
1864roverite Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 SKY just reporting fat lad is in the London area and is hoping Rovers/Wham can conclude a deal. Maybe he is going on the jellied eel slim fast diet !!
ultrablue Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Sam will have seen on trial whether he can do that on a pitch with premier league players. Would have done if he'd been on trial. News reports said he didn't make it over because of time/weather. Scouts were watching him at Korea's two games in Malaga this last week instead.

Scouts were watching him at Korea's two games in Malaga this last week instead. Ah, i knew he was invited on trial but didn't know he couldn't make it. I hope the Benni deal is sorted soon, we need get a replacement in before the window closes. The more time we have the more options we can explore.
ultrablue Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 He could have made it - all set up. But someting about the weather over at Brockhall meant Rovers didn't put him on the plane. He reckons he didn't get enough time to show the scout what he can do in the two international friendlies. I'm surpirsed the deal is still alive. Sounds like either he's still letting clubs know he's out there, or Rovers were pretty sure they wanted him from the start.
hollowsr Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Just seen on Sky Sports that Celtic are thinking of letting Daniel Fox go. Remember seeing him in a few games last year for Coventry and for England U21's and he looked good as a left back. The dingles are meant to be after him, would cost around 1.5m.

It just doesnt happen (new teams excluded) You don't know squat - before we signed him he wasn't experienced in the Premier League. We've been told that Holden is likely to be signed for under 5k. When pressed earlier you admitted that you actually had no idea how much Gally was making. If everyone we've gotten rid of or sent on loan was making what you thought, we wouldn't be still over budget on wages.
