I know there has been no progress on Beattie today...and obviously Gudjohnsen is torn between two teams in London.

Heard there is another striker under discussion...it may come to nothing.

Err...both Voronin and Caicedo have moved on. Voronin is in Russia and Caicedo has gone to Spain.

Benjani would be my guess from that, although he seems to be more involved under Mancini. I'd like to think we had a chance for one of Tottenham's strikers if Gudjohnsen arrives, but we probably don't.

No, that was reported in the French press but that is not the one I heard about...although he could yet become an option.
