Brfcrule1 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Nicko just a couple of things I need some clarification on. "You said" Benni Mac work permit issues are delaying his move you confirmed if they can't be sorted he might come back to us. I understand a fee and terms have been agreed first thing have WHU actually paid any money yet for him?,or are they waiting till these issues are cleared up?. I heard that maybe he could get his current permit transferred over to the hammers how does that work? would it include an extra fee on top of the transfer fee & how much would it be?. With these issues hanging over us is that why we have not bid for any strikers?. On top of that with these permit issues how many days do you think it would take to sort it out?,and do you think it could drag on for longer than Monday's deadline?. I know they said he was due to have a medical on tuesday/wednesday did he pass the medical ok? sorry to go on a bit just was interested to know what stage we are at? thanks

Roberto Policano Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 BY THE WAY IT IS LIKELY TO BE ONE ALMIGHTY 11 O'CLOCKER TONIGHT. Is it Shabani Nonda will re-sign after he was released by Galatasaray yesterday?.
mellison24 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Is it Shabani Nonda will re-sign after he was released by Galatasaray yesterday?. Initially: Oh (Please don't use that word again). A couple of seconds later: Hmmmm, maybe worth a look?
rovers1995 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I hope so Roberto, loved Nonda when he was here. Who's that coming over the hill? Is it Nonda? Shabani Nonda
rovers1995 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Never go back. Did you say the same about Dunny Majiball
John Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Would be too emotional if Nonda came back, would have to take the day off work tomorrow.
Hughesy Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Tired today Hughesy? It says Boro are after McDonald for 3.5 mill, and we are in a four-way fight for Suarez. oh b0llox - yeah I am mate, at the game last night, followed by a job application until the early hours!
Majiball Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Did you say the same about Dunny Majiball Fair do's but at the time we signed him? Then yes, most definitely. I think Hughesy's post the other day on exactly how much he has cost, compared to pitch time summed it up when you look at it as a whole. He's had one decent patch and really overall perhaps has not been the best investment. Don't get me wrong he's definitely one of the better players we have now, when he's fit and not on the treatment table. But it was almost two full seasons, before he started playing like he was at the beginning of this one.
Bobby G Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Suarez from Ajax? No way. He is linked with teams like Man Utd. Way out of our league.
alexanders Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Suarez from Ajax? No way. He is linked with teams like Man Utd. Way out of our league. What? Where did this come from?
Hughesy Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Stiker we are interested in??? 4 way fight for Striker Suarez link
Majiball Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Suarez from Ajax? No way. He is linked with teams like Man Utd. Way out of our league. No not the Uruguayan, the Barcelona kiddie.
alexanders Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 OMG. Suarez Jefren playing for Barcelona. Only featured for the first team a couple of times. A totally different player from Luis Suarez at Ajax. People, get your act together!
Bobby G Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 My bad cause the Barcelona youngster is known simply as Jeffren and not Suarez.
alexanders Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 My bad cause the Barcelona youngster is known simply as Jeffren and not Suarez. Correctomundo. Didnt mean to give an ugly answer
ada2020 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Is it Shabani Nonda will re-sign after he was released by Galatasaray yesterday?. SHABANI NONDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ghoin Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Rovers land Linganzi Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Amine Linganzi from French outfit St Etienne. The Algerian-born midfielder arrives at Ewood Park as a free agent and has signed a three-and-a-half year contract. The 20-year-old will now be tied to Rovers until at least the summer of 2013.

That'll be why there's a Linganzi thread.
mellison24 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 He's pointing out the 'accusing' last line, I think guys.
47er Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 We are now on 27 points another 3 wins along with a couple of draws and we should be ok. It is possible that he may get injured and we would be down to Roberts & Di Santo as our only recognised forwards. However we could sign Beattie and he might end up getting injured. Last season when we were really desperate we played big Samba upfront. My point is that with the squad that we have we are capable of getting the points that we need to stay up this season. I would love it if we could get a quality striker in now who would score the goals to push us towards a possible European qualification. The likes of Beattie aren't just good enough for us. It reminds you of the days when we had the likes of Nathan Blake and Ashley Ward. Realisically there is a big gap from eighth to ninth, after Brum. I think 9th is the best we could possibly achieve.
mark Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 if this talk of the hammers being after bentley has any legs, and if he is actually considering that switch, then surely we should be gettin right in there. i'd like to think we're more attractive than the jellied eel brigade. he must have fond memories of us having played his best football at ewood... nicko, any news as to whether we're sniffin around?
