It's not 3 out 3 then, it's 3 out of 4.

Three out of three targets landed that could be landed. The fourth was not allowed to join them by a FIFA rule.

Maybe Blackburn should be going in for Kyle Naughton... We definetly need more competition in that position in the team. We could start up a right back collection and maybe open a right back museum in the near future.

11oclocker tonight nicko? anything on the new striker and also do you have any news on dunn's injury.

There's too much 'noise' out there just now...what with the Screws story and all of the repercussions...

All I can tell you is that Beattie may be a 'live' target again. I think the price has dropped and Stoke have a replacement lined up.

On a side-note I have never heard so many lies told by so many desperate managers, chairmen and agents as I have heard in the past 48 hours.

Scary.

Are these on your list of Liars?

Martinez & Whelan combo

Steve Bruce

Everyone at Birmingham City

Victor Moses' agent?

Pass.

I have never known a window when so many deals have crashed for so many different reasons.

It is quite pathetic.

You could do a list right now of clubs and the positions they need. And very few of those vacancies will be properly filled in the next two or three days.

i see bolteon have just signed jackwilshire on loan from arsenal. what a quiality signing that is.

:angry2:

I can see him being a good player in a couple of years, but I really do feel that he won't make an impact for them at all. I think he's too light way and will be a bench boy after about 5 games.

beattie being a live one did slightly worry me because we need a creative player to replace benni, but with pedersens resurgance in form along with dunny and basturk albeit depending on fitness (both of them), we really dont need another creative one. so in saying that having beattie rival kalinic for the lone role won't be so bad because di santo isnt getting goals although I do rate the lad and I just think roberts isn't good enough and has lost a bit of his passion. i dont suppose you know what the likelihood of us moving roberts on and if we are keeping di santo at the end of the season?

Yeah, but come on, I've got a mate like mcGod - he always targets the ugly bird because

a) she won't be choosey,

B) there won't be much competition and

c) being grateful she'll be a cheap night

Weiss had two other Premier League clubs into his ribs.

Wilshere had three Premier League clubs and Celtic into him.

Holden obviously had other offers [not Rovers I should stress].

As for your taste in women, that's up to you.

Use full stops. As I said to someone else, I no longer care where. Just break up what you write into breath-sized chunks and where you'd take a breath, shove a full stop in. Then make the next letter a capital and what you write might, just might, be readable.

Posted

Im sorry, didnt realise that forums were supposed to be formal, I will admit I probably should have used a few fullstops and from now on will write in the full correct english manner. I must compliment you on how well you wrote your reply, congratulations on being able to type so well, I'm sure it's got you very far in life.

If you want people to take time to read what you've written, at least have the decency to make it readable. The garbled mess that Gumboots quoted wasn't readable at all.

Not much to ask really is it...how long does it take to split sentences up? I'd be surprised if it added more than 5 seconds onto the time it takes you to post. It didn't really need a rude reply either.

I understand what your saying but I didn't appreciate his attempt to dumb-down his response, suggesting I wouldn't have understood him simply asking me to use more grammar. I'm still waiting for someone to comment on my improved grammar, did you get that sarcasm?

Ahh, but sometimes she turns out to be a good shag, cheaply bought!

Gumboots, is not a HE btw. Mrs Gumboots, i hate all these grammer things you be talking about. ;)

My guess on a striker is, either Lewondowski(sp), Tamudo, Zigic, Janko or Nihat.

Nihat is one of my favourite strikers, so im always hoping he will join us.

So Nicko, with 3 days of the window left open has it come down to being between Beattie & the striker from abroad who you mentioned this afternoon, who has possibly " already had his medical " ???????

I would guess the Benni replacement could be the Bosnian guy as Sam mentioned it may not be a striker we bring in

Blackpool fan I know reckons Rovers put a £4m bid in for Charlie Adam this aft. No idea where he got it from. I have seen him play a couple of times and he is a very commanding player in the middle of the park. He is the one reason Blackpool are around the play-offs. Great passing and shooting ability. Scoring regularly at the moment, third highest scorer in the division. A tad overweight but getting fitter gradually since he left Rangers I believe. No idea what went wrong at Rangers but got frozen out there. Walter Smith being a useless tosser probably. Mate reckons he's the best midfield player in the Championship, and a more dangerous and effective player than Adam Johnson, who is valued at £7-9M.
