do you want to guess how many first team chances he`s had and how much promise he`s got? this is the type of player we should be signing, not james `furkin` beattie.

are you frazier campbell.....he's cack.....why would anyone outside the championship be interested in him? we need a finisher don't care if they are good athletes quick and all that, we need an aldridge type(allowed to dream)

Kalinic (22) – 10 starts, 6 goals = 1.67 games per goal

Frazier Campbell (22) – 10 starts, 3 goals = 3.33 games per goal

Il not guess....il just the info which I looked at last week... :wstu:

Shall we talk about Fiction or shall we talk about Fact? The Fact is, Frazier Campbell has done nothing at Sunderland and did very little at Spurs too. He did ok in the Championship....but thats because its his level.

why have you compared kalinic to campbell? we already have niko and don`t need to sign him, the comparision should be made against other possibles such as beattie. if you`d rather have beattie than campbell your heads gone pal. if you though martin dahlin was statuesque then beattie would madden you even more. the guy CAN`T run!

Well I'd take Beattie over Campbell because we need more experience up front, now that we've got rid of Benni. You always need a blend of both imo. 3 young strikers and 1 experienced is an imbalance. I'd take a plump for him in the summer, even if we kept DiSanto. but I'd always say a club needs 2 experienced strikers AT LEAST.

we need a nippy goal poacher not another slow target man(which is what beattie attempts to be), his goal output is terrible.

we have roberts(hardly young at 31) and di santo as target men, we have kalinic as a finisher and we need one more. hoilett is a wide man not a striker if your counting him.

No, I would happily take Campbell BUT I think we ought to have more than one experienced striker at the club. Roberts is our only experienced striker atmo.....who are our younger strikers meant to look to for advice? Beattie would provide the foil for Niko very well, while also being good at set-pieces and headers.

Although, Roberts and DiSanto could do this job, I just think we need more experience up top to guide the younger players.

If we did make DiSanto a permanent, I just hope we'd see what happened with Bentley happen - not setting the world on fire while on loan and then worth 17 million by the time he leaves (plus wouldn't mind a hat trick in his first match next month).
