Think Pedersen is leaving in Jan, it's a shame in my opinion but he waved to the fans yesterday. Am I reading too much into it?

I hope not. MGP leaving means potential new blood in the midfield, something we need desperately.

Sinama Pongolle is going to Sporting Lisbon for €5 million.

Maxi Rodriguez could follow the same path and join them. I think he could be great for Rovers, maybe we could get them.

Sorry, Nicko, but I highly doubt that Porto are interested in Benni. Celta Vigo maybe but Porto no!!

Porto are in for Benni...that's from another club who inquired and found out his wages and the fact that they are trying to take him on loan.

I sure hope you are right.

I don't think Benni will add much to their ofense.

And he might not want to join them as he would want to be a first team player.

I'd assumed he meant he'd be back on Jan 1st.

HOLDEN...Burnley are in and have been for a while, think they may be favourites...not sure how great the Rovers interest is.

GUTI...Bolton are trying very hard for him, may happen if he fancies going down the Campo and Hierro road. Interesting one, but an expensive loan.

BEN ARFA...strange one, but he could be available on loan.

BEATTIE...not happy at being left out of the team on Saturday, we shall see if he plays tomorrow.

So it begins, I can sense a long and stressful January.

On the upside at least this forum will be spammed with 'Is there an 11 o clocker tonight Nicko?' 18 times a day for the near future :P

It will be interesting to see the reactions tomorow at Ewood as I thought the same about Benni yesterday as he seemed to do an about turn when walking off the pitch and come applaud and wave to the fans, if this was a wave goodbye I dont know but it did seem so at the time.

Nicko, surely if Ben Arfa goes out on loan then it will be to Man Utd and have you heard anything on McCarthy/Pedersen?

Ben Arfa is not the wanted man he was. He needs a move to resurrect him a bit. Whether it is Rovers remains to be seen.

No more word on Benni or MGP.
