so thats a bit more money wasted on a player who'd struggle to score in a brothel...1 goal all season says it all !

So would you with that negative attitude!

He scored 1 goal - but it was against the dingles.......He will come good - just give him time

Indeed, also we have to take into account he is only 20 years old and this is his first PROPER season playing first team football. If Chelsea will sell him for a decent price i would take him in an instant.

Sorry quoted the wrong message!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wigan_athletic/7861549.stm

He moved for £6 million and has played well so cant imagine Wigan wanting to let him leave on the cheap.

NZogbia going would be a massive blow for Wigan.

Wigan need a decent right winger to balance up their attack not lose their only decent left sided one.

Easy to say now but if we'd signed Klasnic with a set fee for next season if it worked out, Di Santo on loan and 2 youngish and definately fit mid-fielders for 3M each, we would be flying now.Oh--and no Salgado would have left us money for 2 loan options in January if needed and selling Andrews to Fulham for anything we could get to Fulham would have given us even more options. . I've defended Sam a lot and still want him to have the time to build us up but that would have been the better way to go.

I mentioned KP Boetang in summer and got laughed at, I think he's a good player and would certainly offer us more in midfield than what we have

Spot on - Instant legend status - he works hard for the team too and thats what we like to see, he will come good, you will see!

Really? Marcus Bent scored against Burnley, he hardly has legend status around here does he. I think he is an ok player but he doesn't score enough goals. Hopefully this will change, but now he looks like he could play forever and never score another goal.

Cannot believe for one minute that Martin O'Neil would be so stupid to wreck his promising Villa team by signing Beattie.

I wonder if Nicko had a word in Coyle's ear?

Happy New Year...

Owen had him lined up a month ago. That was why I was shocked at the Rovers link.

He was never going to go to Burnley for a few weeks in the hope of a deal if Rovers had offered him a four-year contract.

Still no idea if he is any good. But he sounds like a good type.

And a Scot at the World Cup finals against England? Just made my summer.

We have been watching Holden for a while, along with a few other clubs.
