Amo Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 He doesn't like the manager, bung rumours and style of football probably play a part, simple as that, can’t understand why you all find that so hard to understand. I couldn't really give a monkeys about waggy's principles, but the way he conducts himself is another matter altogether.

Iceman Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 There are posters on here who list their locations as being within easy reach of Ewood Park, but have always been in front of their computers throughout every home game spouting on the match threads - even now when the STs are so cheap! Can't see anyone calling their loyalty, or questioning their support for BRFC?? Waggy will be back when Allardyce has gone. Fair play to him for having some principles. some of us can only dream of attending 1 game, unfortunately i cannot afford it. Those who live near to the stadium, should really appreciate it.
Gav Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I couldn't really give a monkeys about waggy's principles, but the way he conducts himself is another matter altogether. Most irrelevant post on the subject.
S15 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Maybe. Whatever. But isn't that exactly what the likes of you and Shillito and Waggy's other critics are doing tonight, rather than vocally supporting your team in an easy to reach local derby, where the tickets are on the cheap side in the Premier League?? I know why I've chosen not to go - and it has nothing to do with temperature or cost You know nothing of anyones circumstances financially or geographically, all I would say is I need not do anything to justify my support, regardless of my feelings towards this or any other manager. You could say my support for the club runs far deeper than my hatred for any one man. See you on Thursday.
alexanders Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 apparently we are interested in zaki again.
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 apparently we are interested in zaki again. I hope we stay well clear. Hasn't he gone awol again?
Bobby G Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Whats the source? Never rated Zaki as a player or person.
Amo Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 But isn't that exactly what the likes of you and Shillito and Waggy's other critics are doing tonight, rather than vocally supporting your team in an easy to reach local derby, where the tickets are on the cheap side in the Premier League??I know why I've chosen not to go - and it has nothing to do with temperature or cost As shillito said, you don't know the situations of those of us who can't make it to Ewood. I don't judge waggy (or anyone else) for how many times they've visited Ewood Park (or not) this season. That's their prerogative as the consumer. It's what comes out of their mouths which is ultimately the deciding factor.
Tris Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You know nothing of anyones circumstances financially or geographically, all I would say is I need not do anything to justify my support, regardless of my feelings towards this or any other manager. You could say my support for the club runs far deeper than my hatred for any one man. See you on Thursday. Neither does Waggy need to do anything to justify his support in that case ... so discussion closed, and stop slagging off a guy you know nothing about. BTW MCFC is reporting that "There's a chance of a record tonight: Blackburn could be bringing the smallest away following ever at CoMS in the league". The trains are running, the roads are all fine, it's the warmest evening of 2010 so far ... so I wonder what the problem is??
Bobby G Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 About Zaki: ...The forward failed to report to the club's Cairo headquarters for five days and Hazem Emam, a board member for the Egyptian giants, told FilGoal: "We are open to offers for Zaki. Any worthy offer will be accepted. "The club can no longer bear such actions. Missing training for several days without giving any explanations is an inexplicable action from a professional player like Zaki. He is transfer listed by his Egyptian club. People nag about Benni's stomach but is this the kind of discipline we want near our team?
rebelmswar Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 The trains are running, the roads are all fine, it's the warmest evening of 2010 so far ... so I wonder what the problem is?? Because Manchester is a hive of villainy?
S15 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Neither does Waggy need to do anything to justify his support in that case ... so discussion closed, and stop slagging off a guy you know nothing about. I'm not slagging off the person, just his opinions on Allardyce and the action he has admitted he has taken as a result of his opinions (Which I again reiterate are based on allegations Allardyce was cleared of). Would that not be a perfectly valid thing to do on an opinion based messageboard? His 'slaggings' of Allardyce are often personal and pretty bitter, however I don't recall you ever coming on and suggesting he shouldn't be slagging off someone he doesn't know.
RovertheHill Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 the roads are all fine, it's the warmest evening of 2010 so far ... so I wonder what the problem is?? Proof it's possible to spin just about anything to suit your own point or agenda It may because it's weeks after Christmas, it's been a horrible 2009 economically for most people, and there are 2 home games within the next 6 days, one of which is a semi-final?
QOTSA Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 City are saying we had sold 472 tickets at 2pm today. It's certainly not a record although it ain't anything to shout about either!
broadsword Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Gav it's sod all to do with Allardyce's style of play, it's down to a pathetic hatred of a man he's never met. I think he's said that he's met "lardarse" once or twice before. if he doesn't want to go because Allardyce is there, that's purely down to him, I don't know what the big fuss is, let him get on with it. We're all free to attend which ever games we wish to.
Gav Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 It's what comes out of their mouths which is ultimately the deciding factor. Its a messageboard, the place to say what you think, would you rather people towed the party line and didn’t make waves? I know a word for that……
Amo Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Its a messageboard, the place to say what you think, would you rather people towed the party line and didn’t make waves? I know a word for that…… I respect the right to opinion, doesn't mean I should agree with it.
Gav Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I respect the right to opinion, doesn't mean I should agree with it. ......and you'll not find a post that says you have to agree with Waggy, but you should respect his opinion, possibly even more so now we've just witnessed that disgusting 1st half performance.
des Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 how about a team that wants to play for the rovers who have power, pace and skill well we can dream cannot we
Tris Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 The trains are running, the roads are all fine, it's the warmest evening of 2010 so far ... so I wonder what the problem is?? Proof it's possible to spin just about anything to suit your own point or agenda Maybe your sarcasm filter needs a wash. It's very clear what the problem is. Too many people with their heads in the sand don't want to admit it. Semi final is do or die now for this manager.
Kelbo Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 On tonights performance we need a keeper, right back, left back, two centre backs four midfielders, two strikers and a new manager!!
RovertheHill Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Maybe your sarcasm filter needs a wash. It's very clear what the problem is. Too many people with their heads in the sand don't want to admit it. Semi final is do or die now for this manager. No sarcasm here - but really - the warmest evening of 2010 may be factual but it's stretching a point. 2 home games coming up, it's cold, it's straight after Christmas, it's been a miserable 2009 for most. All facts and all would have been contributory factors even if we were playing like Brazil. However, you may be right with your second point. You seemingly had the ear of JW 16 months ago - is that his feeling too?
PAFELL Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 On tonights performance we need a keeper, right back, left back, two centre backs four midfielders, two strikers and a new manager!! We need owners who support the club. It is time for supporters of Blackburn Rovers to HOUND, PESTER, EMBARRASS the walker trust for failing Jack Walker. Nicko help us get a campaign going with regards to the Walker trustees, they are now the ones at fault. Not the manager - though he isn't helping - lack of funds to change the team.
blue and whites Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 i would easily take zaki now, we are desperate and i think he would be a class act with right guidence. i know he has som issues, but i really think if he where to move back to england he would take himself together. wouldn't cost that much either, and could prove a real bargain. we all know he can score goals when in form.

Sorry Pafell. These players can play (the ones who are picked and the ones who are inexplicably chopped out of the team every other week). The manager is negating their strengths. He is an absolute idiot. And before I get slated for "only posting when we do badly" - until tonight I've not posted on football matters since December 3rd. I've let the whole shocking mess go without comment for nearly 6 weeks. Tonight is the door into the last chance saloon. Allardyce has taken us out of the FA Cup, and is making us look idiots in the league. It's Wembley or BUST
