Bobby G Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Roberts and Di Santo up front. Dunn, Emo, Diouf and Nzonzi in midfield, and same back four as last time around.
imy9 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Could this be an attacking three up front? Emo Nzonzi Dunn Roberts Di Santos EHD
Exiled_Rover Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Jeez, Freddie Roach is really in a bad way.
Miker Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Scrappy game so far, but it feels like we can expect a few goals today.
Exiled_Rover Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Dull game so far. Midfield non-existant so far.
Miker Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 He just makes it look way too easy! Pretty dull game though, way too many mistakes.
Mr. E Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 OH MY DUNN! Who needs Kaka, who needs Ronaldo?
Miker Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Jacobsen on... I don't like that move, Bolton's main threat is going to be Gardner and Chimbonda has been keeping him at bay very well so far, I'm not sure if Jacobsen can do the same...
waynerovers Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 that was some finish, if he keeps this up an england call is not that unrealistic
Miker Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Does Diouf really have to pass it backwards every time he gets the ball?
Mr. E Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 good HT lead. Our only real weakness is the crosses, which come in very fast and hard, Bolton's strikers are quite pacy and there's always some dangerous flick-on causing confusion. We need at least another goal or two in the 2nd half.
Miker Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 I just checked and that goal makes Dunn the 2nd best scoring midfielder in the Premier League so far, behind Fabregas.
Rovers_4_life Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Giving away far too many free kicks in our own half, will get punished eventually. Other than that they haven't caused us too many problems. If I was Big Sam I'd get a new contract offer on the table for Dunny ASAP! Come on Rovers!
martmitch Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 will need more than 1 goal to win this i think, bolton have been very physical on our players and getting away with it mostly, weve rode our luck also so am happy to be going in 1 up, felt bolton had the upper hand last 15 mins of 1st half, classy finish from dunn, good work from di santo and roberts leading to the goal, benni for 2nd half?
Exiled in Toronto Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 One moment of class in a half of otherwise utter tedium. It was the kind of goal that is a great advert for 2 strikers plus the first we have scored on the break since I can't remember when. Salgado officially confirmed as the highest-paid third-choice right back on the planet
Exiled_Rover Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Dunn won't be going anywhere. Jacobsen is a good replacement for Givet - he's been unfairly frozen out recently. The midfield needs to start taking command of the game or else we're going to regret it. Bolton are probably going to score from a free kick if we don't sort our act out.
Robin Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 The midfield needs to start taking command of the game or else we're going to regret it. Hmmm....that problem sounds familiar....
martmitch Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 gotta step up they will score if it carries on like this
