thenodrog
Large AUDI Drivers = Cocks BMW x6 x5 Drivers = Cocks BMW x3 Drivers = WannaBe Cocks BMW z4 Drivers = Cool Merc S Class (2nd hand) = Cocks MICRA Drivers = Dangerous Hyundi Getz Drivers = Nearly Dead Front Fog Drivers = Should be shot. Not sure what you mean by 'cocks'. Most of the first 5 in Blackburn live in terraced streets around Preston New Road area. Standard colour being black with blacked out windows and a smattering of chrome. Tasteless first and foremost of course. I'm thinking of ditching Audi cos of it's current image and in fact ditching saloons altogether. The 180ps version of this with side windows and rear seats is currently attracting me as much as anything. http://www.worldcarfans.com/109081921134/new-2010-volkswagen-t5-van-facelift-revealed

adopted scouser
In future, get off at Stafford north, take the A roads up to chester, M53 to wallasey tunnel, across town to the 58, then up to Chorley. Done it loads of times, you've only got yourself to blame going anywhere near the M6 on a Friday.
ABBEY
no choice ..course finishes I come home to rishton..simple. Is it toll both ways? M6 was nearly a tenner..not paying that aha..ah well back at 3.

only2garners
4 hours down not bad.....if anyone has any quick ways around brum let me know..here book or tweet.ta. Have you tried coming off the M6 at junction 15 (Stoke South) and taking the A50 across to the M1? This will cut out all of Birmingham and no tolls. M50 is motorway standard dual carriageway all the way. Of course the M1 can be bad as well and it will mean you coming into London on the M1 rather than M40, which isn't as good assuming you're going round the M25. unluckymorton
4 hours down not bad.....if anyone has any quick ways around brum let me know..here book or tweet.ta. I think your as well being happy at 4hrs, I would be. Sometimes it's far easier to put up with a little traffic that starting to his A & B roads. I do Basingstoke in 4 to 4.5hrs, never gone quicker than 4. I did Guilford on a Monday Morning in a little over 5hrs hitting the M25 at 8.30am! Now that was a shock to the system! Can't believe I got done by a speed camera on Monday, I drive past the same one on Washway Rd, Sale near every weekday morning and some how forgot about it.... COULDNT EVEN DETOUR BECAUSE OFF 22 JAM ON M60...6 HOURS FROM LONDON IS @#/? GRRRRRR It's a bloody disgrace Abs. Been like it for weeks now. Particularly bad yesterday when someone decided to crash and one of the 10 lots of 50mph zones was reduced to 2 lanes. Deep joy. No point doing these "road improvements" in the summer is there? All that daylight and good weather. Best to wait until it's raining and you can't see what you're doing - oh and do them all at once. That'll teach people for having jobs. I also enjoyed the traffic on the M5 about a month ago. They shut the motorway for 4.5 hours. Stuck there, engine off. People were in tears. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Speedyhire driver who narrowly avoided smashing into me at Frankley services yesterday. Those white dotted lines are give way markings you stupid ######.

"The government is committed to 'Building Britain's Future' and bringing forward infrastructure investment wherever possible to help stimulate the economy". Sorry, are those your words? Who are you quoting? Was it your idea to do all this work the length and breadth of the M6 (well between Haydock and the M5) all in one go, in winter? Wouldn't it have been better to have done at least some of the work in the summer? Have you any idea regarding the pain, misery and general disruption that this is causing? Wouldn't it be better to use more than one workman? How long have you had a Speedyhire van?
