Ben-2000 Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 "Lady" is approx 3 to 4 years old and was taken into the care of N.E.S.S.R (Northern English Springer Spaniel Rescue). She is an ex-breeding bitch and has not had the best start in life. At her tender age she has already had countless litters. When she arrived at NESSR she could barely open her eyes, because of a condition caused by ingrown lashes that had been left to fester by her owner. She is extremely nervous - which leads us to believe she may have been ill-treated. NESSR got her physically fit and well and re-homed her recently in the Monkston area of Milton Keynes... sadly she escaped from her new owners the following day. She has been "on the run" since and despite several sightings, no-one yet has been able to catch her. One of the latest sightings leads us to believe she may now have been hit by a car and be injured. Her foster family have been searching for her both day and night..... and efforts by other NESSR volunteers is ongoing. Please, if you can spare a couple of moments, read the thread on the NESSR website, and you will get an idea of just what has been going on this past week to get Lady back safe and sound ....you will be amazed at the lengths people are going to… http://www.nessr.net/smf/index.php?topic=14520.0 BUT WE NEED HELP!! .... We need to publicise this on a massive scale so that the people of MK can be our eyes. There is a reward on offer for information leading to her safe return. NESSR contact details are as follows for any information/sightings etc: *Cynthia Turvey on 01670 760346 *Email: rescue@nessr.net *Alternatively you can contact myself, Ben Sumner, on 07531 954447 Many thanks, Ben On behalf of NESSR (Registered charity number 1121569)
