RibbleValleyRover Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Only creative player we have is Dunny plus we never replaced the creativity out wide that we had with Bentley. If Dunny has a poor game or is nullified then its hard to see where the creativity will come from.

eddiewac Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Something you don't hear everyday, "and theres a throughball that McCarthy is going to chase"
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I see Fulham have the club crest on their corner flags. As Rovers are the only team allowed them for winning the FA Cup 3 times in a row, surely we should report them and get the 3pts automatically
EnglishChris Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Neil McDonald OUT NOW lmao get the ball rolling like everyone does with Big Sam
rovers1995 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Thing I can't understand is that why change a winning team from the weekend. Fair enough Givet and Emerton are injured. But why change N'Zonzi and why change the formation and force Dunny back
Dan Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 It appears Andrews and Grella had a lucky half, they've gone really crap again. I'm off to play MW2, not wasting my night on this shower. We aren't going to score a goal out of thin air. We could have 4 strikers up front, but with no quality service they may as well not be there. Fulham deserve this, we had a lot of the ball first half but never really looked like we were going to score. This will end up 4-0.
Exiled_Rover Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Another disappointing away defeat to a very poor outfit. God we need some investment.
Sysagent Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Christ we are awful... Why are we so inconsistant, why is Diouf still on the pitch, I just don't get it, I have to admit I am beginning to lose interest in it all and that is hard to admit. ;-(

But why change N'Zonzi and why change the formation and force Dunny back We had a good first half. Just bad finishing denied us a chance to take the lead. I think he chose this formation because it worked against Bolton in the second half. Throughout the game though we can see that the formation has changed from Plan A to Plan B and back but we've just not performed this half. We've been awful.
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Kalinic and Benni are the sort of forwards that need service, Dunny has been too deep and no one else is providing that creative spark.
Backroom Tom Posted November 25, 2009 Backroom Posted November 25, 2009 Disappointing result but Sundays result gave us some breathing space, doesn't sound like we were too bad in the first half so lets not go overboard. Fat chance of that on here though.
MikeySan Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Can anybody inform me what Grella actually does in the team, what is his role? Besided adding nothing.
bigbrandjohn Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Great chance for McCarthy/Chimbonda goes narrowly wide
sambo Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Poor selection, poor result. No doubt Sam had an input on putting Andrews in. And if Kalinic has dived, I am even more disappointed with his signing. Him and Salgado look like they could be the lowlights of Sam's reign.
super_arran Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Can anybody inform me what Grella actually does in the team, what is his role? Besided adding nothing. defensive/holding midfielder. He breaks down and spreads the play.
adopted scouser Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 We are rubbish. All the posters on here that were jubilant after a victory over a terrible Bolton side were rosy after a false dawn. Pathetic.

I agree in regards to Salgado, complete waste of money (wages should have been spent on a midfielder instead). Kalinic is still young, but the lad needs service we only have one player that can offer that since we sold Bentley.
Mr. E Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Well, at least we had a couple of weeks to feel positive about the team. Wonder when that will happen.
rovers1995 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 That has just wiped out the result at the weekend. When you think we have stoke, liverpool, hull and birmingham coming up we should get results, but this is rovers
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 And if Kalinic has dived, I am even more disappointed with his signing. I didn't see the replay but when I saw him go down I thought it looked a dive.
MikeySan Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Well we are woeful second half, but Fulham rode their luck first half. Should've scored atleast once there.

If we lose to Stoke, then there's trouble.
