Anyway he's at the MEN 27th-30th April - Tickets will be like gold-dust Tel number 0844 847 8000 I was sat next to Peter Kay at a christening the other weekend. I even spoke to him. He was in the way of the blue cheese at the buffet. I went to see Michael McIntyre at the MEN a few weeks ago. I didn't realise how massive a venue it was. McIntyre was just a purple dot! Still very funny, though! Thanks for the heads up, Hughesy!
Guest Kamy100 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 The Manchester Evening News are saying that this is a unique deal as he will most likely be doing stand up for much of May and June at the MEN if demand holds, they will keep adding dates once shows are sold out, this tour will only be at the MEN: The Tour that Doesn't Tour Tour!

Backroom Tom Posted November 20, 2009 Backroom Posted November 20, 2009 Not sure whether to go to this, I went to his last tour and it was Ok but these days he winds me up, every year a new DVD of the same old rehashed stuff cashing in on vunerable people. I don't think he'll ever get near to his Top of the Tower DVD standards again. I may still check it out though.
Hughesy Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 He's promised its 95% NEW material - says alot has passed over the 7 years, such as Facebook, Iphone, SKY+ and being a dad
Backroom Tom Posted November 20, 2009 Backroom Posted November 20, 2009 Cool, I've decided I'm going to go and check it out anyway, my mate will order tickets tomorrow hopefully
1864roverite Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I like Peter Kay but he is far far behind Paddy McGuinness at stand up.
Derby Blue Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 If anyone wants it, link below for the pre sale for Peter Kay. Valid from now until tickets on general sale at 11am. Already added 6 more dates by the looks of it - many more to come I would assume. http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/promo/8gbb41?CAMEFROM=CFC_UK_EV0557_WEBLINK
bellamy11 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 I like Peter Kay but he is far far behind Paddy McGuinness at stand up. Good grief - Paddy McGuinness is the worst stand up on this planet! "I like tits and I like women with tits. Cor blimey look at your tits missus. I'd shag you." Hilarious...
cn174 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Manged to get 4 in the presale, getting more is proving a bit difficult!! Patience!!
modes98 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Sorted for 3 tickets on 7th May. Xmas presents sorted for mum and gf.
RovertheHill Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Despite the best efforts of Ticketmaster to stop me, I managed to get 2 in May. That web site really, really annoys me
Backroom Tom Posted November 21, 2009 Backroom Posted November 21, 2009 My mate got 10 for the 30th so I'm sorted anyway, hope its good
Simon Says Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Got a couple of tickets for May 13th. Looking forward to it. But Ticketmaster, I despise you!
ABBEY Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 rather watch lee mack than the bolton whale imho.
boris bear Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Despite trying at eight o'clock I couldn't get any in the presale but I tried again at eleven o'clock and got two for Saturday 15th May which is a more convenient day for me. The website seemed to keep stopping during the process and I managed to key in the wrong authorisation code for my debit card so I was very relieved when the confirmation email arrived.
STIFFY Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I managed to get 4 tickets for Saturday 1st May. It's a long shot, but if there is anybody out there who has got 4 tickets for a Friday night show who is willing to swap let me know.
Derby Blue Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 rather watch lee mack than the bolton whale imho. Saw him last night in a pub doing a warm up night for his new tour. Very, very funny - even managed to get in a dig about the dingles, although not sure if he'll leave it in if he plays in the town
Backroom Tom Posted November 23, 2009 Backroom Posted November 23, 2009 I want to see Sean Locke, corny as hell but he cracks me up.
SAS Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 My mate got 10 for the 30th so I'm sorted anyway, hope its good How`d he manage that when the maximum was eight? ME and two others tried from 11am but didnt get through once on the website and once on the phones and that was having 1 laptop going and 3 phones...
unluckymorton Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 rather watch lee mack than the bolton whale imho. I'm with you there Abbey. My mate has got us tickets to see Lee Mack at King Georges next year. I think it's in April. I'd much rather see Lee Mack than Peter Kay, the top of the tower and bungalow tours were fantastic, but I'm a bit bored of him now.
Hughesy Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 Who's Lee Mack? Local lad? Any footage of him anywhere!?
