Miker Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Pretty blurry stream I have here, but Emerton looks pretty poor right now. I'm sure he's given the ball away a number of times now.

John Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Is Grella injured again? Yes, Andrews on now for him....
imy9 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 yes- again... Andrews looks to be coming on...
HemelRover Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Is Grella injured again? Yep, Andrews replaces him.
PAFELL Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 yes- again... Andrews looks to be coming on... Andrews scored for rovers last season at Hull. I think he also used to play for Hull - they can have him back after the game if they want!!!!!!!!!
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Missing something creative today in the final third of the pitch, i'd give it 10-15 mins after HT and look to make changes if it still doesn't look like we are going to create anything.
Bobby G Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Injury to GRELLA wasnt exploited in the first half when he left the pitch. I cant see Andrews being defensively as effective as the Aussie. Overall, they are there for the taKINg but too many wayward passes especially when we want to build up towards the front. Dunn is being missed.
Mr. E Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 We hardly let them have a touch in this first half (though the touches they did have produced match-savign saves by Robbo), but again we can't score. 3 premiership games in a row and we can't find the back of the net - or we do, but it's not given. Get Kalinic on for Di Santo. Benni best player on the pitch.
AggyBlue Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Benni is giving the ball away far too much. Junior is looking useful. Grella is a crock. Hull are crap.
Miker Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Why is it that every time we start passing the ball around well, someone turns around and passes it backwards and then have a defender or Robinson hoof it up the field?
Messi422 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Givet really can't help Hoilett in the left. However, in the right channel,Chimbonda had many crosses and passes and help Emerton a lot.
joey_big_nose Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 We have been the better team, but hull have had the best two chances. Decent performance by all except mcCarthy who is wasting possession (although doing some good things) and Chimbonda who again seems to be lacking concentration. Pleased with Hoilett. Kalinic on second half I think, not sure who I would take off?
AggyBlue Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Kalinic on second half I think, not sure who I would take off? Andrews
philipl Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Rovers comfortably the better side despite Bert having a poor game and Grella hobbling for quite a while before being subbed. Benni over-complicated once or twice then went needlessly offside for the goal that was ruled out. This one is going to require composure to stop Hull from nicking anything and cool finishing when the inevitable chance comes along.
Backroom DE. Posted December 12, 2009 Backroom Posted December 12, 2009 Is Grella physically strong enough to play in the Premier League? His consistant injuries suggest not. Yet, there's nothing we can do about it. Angering.
Backroom Tom Posted December 12, 2009 Backroom Posted December 12, 2009 Come on Rovers this lot should be there for the taking. Bloody hell Burnley just scored Kalinic on and booked already then hit side netting
chocky Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 This is our problem...lots of chances that are not taken...
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Going to have to be a smash and grab job by the looks of it if we are to get a win, Hull well on top and only they look like scoring.
Bobby G Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 So unlucky not to win this match especially with the chances Kalinic created for himself. His reactions and awareness are first class. 2 points dropped.
Mr. E Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 3rd straight 0-0. We're going nowhere in the league. And the troubling thing is that besides Dunn, we really tried everything today. Let's hope we're saving all the goals for Aston Villa.
Backroom DE. Posted December 12, 2009 Backroom Posted December 12, 2009 Another 0-0. Not particularly happy with the result, at all. There are plenty of ways to spin the 0-0 as a good away result, but it isn't really. Third 0-0 in a row isn't it? Exciting times to be a Rovers fan.
Backroom Tom Posted December 12, 2009 Backroom Posted December 12, 2009 Not good enough I'm afraid, that Hull team was awful if we can't beat that then questions need to be answered

His reactions and awareness are first class. 2 points dropped. He will get some flack by some on here but at least he got in the right places and had chances, he did far more in this game than Roberts, Benni and Di Santo. 4 games without us scoring a goal in the league
