Amo Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 We've been playing tidy stuff, so far. Not a hoof ball in sight.

RibbleValleyRover Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 Hoilett has some decent pace, playing well so far and is causing them some problems.
tony gale's mic Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Winning the ball in midfield well, playing good football but we badly miss Dunns extra bit of creativity. Hoillet and Benni playing well, Salgado pretty anonymous but not much worse than EHD.
J*B Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 "Christopher Samba has had the most shots on target in the entire Blackburn team."
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 ###### idiots. Can't even hold on until HT, switched off completely. Samba would have stopped crouch from getting the header.
J*B Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 0-1 Spurs, Crouch 47 minutes; after 1 minute injury time shown.
Sysagent Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 FFS last 10 seconds and they score... Saying they were well overtime with the extratime alloted
Miker Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 What the (Please don't use that word again) was that?? That was the dodgiest ###### goal I have ever seen. (Please don't use that word again). We've put in a very impressive, combative performance. We've looked dangerous and virtually error-free... Tottenham on the other hand has been completely devoid of opportunities or any sort of flow to the game. I was really happy with this performance... AND THEN WE CONCEDE A ###### ###### GOAL LIKE THAT ARGHHHHH
tony gale's mic Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 FFS. We'd been playing well, but a combination of terrible luck with Huddlestones shot staying in play, the extra bit of added on time and not having Samba contributed to that goal.
RoverRich Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 The ball was in the middle of the park approaching 47mins on the clock so why did the ref not blow for half time??!!! He let them carry on their attack and score. Brilliant! Saying that though we still should have held out until half time. Worst possible time for them to score.
Tango Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Peter Walton deserves two-barrels in the face from a shotgun; possibly the worst refereeing performance I've seen in a half. Incredulous that it's 1-0.
Mr. E Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Ah, Premiership refereeing. You work your socks off for the entire half, the referee gives a certain amount of injury time, then takes off his pants and urinates on all your efforts by allowing play to continue after that time has well and truly ended. If I was BFS I wouldn't even bring the team back on for the second half. This is a mockery.
KoNG Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Switched off and paid the penalty...! Still the ref is a complete key-hunt
des Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 the full back should be marking tight so the ball cannot be crossed in the firdt place, when will we learn to defend
Backroom DE. Posted December 19, 2009 Backroom Posted December 19, 2009 What the (Please don't use that word again) was that?? That was the dodgiest ###### goal I have ever seen. (Please don't use that word again). We've put in a very impressive, combative performance. We've looked dangerous and virtually error-free... Tottenham on the other hand has been completely devoid of opportunities or any sort of flow to the game. I was really happy with this performance... AND THEN WE CONCEDE A ###### ###### GOAL LIKE THAT ARGHHHHH This happens far, far too often. Whenever I see that we're pushing to score I fear the worst, because we cannot score to save our lives and we love letting in dodgy goals. Will be interesting to see what Sam does now at HT. Kalinic should come on.
troybo1 Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 added time 1 min.Crouch scored on 46:33! So its ok to throw the centre half to the floor whilst your jumping to head a goal.FFS!The last 10 min this ref has been abysmal, some baffling decisions.
martmitch Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 cant believe we are going in one down, tottenham have created nothing apart from that goal even lennon been switched flanks as chimbonda's had him in his pocket! weve had the better of everything I just hope we can rally to come back from being 1 down to beat em again they clearly aren't having a good game spurs clearly cant cope with the pace of junior and di santo, mccarthy been playing well also I think, everyones played well goddamit just need the ball in the back of the net
Miker Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Lol that was comical stuff from Chimbonda.... he jumps away from the ball. (Please don't use that word again)
Bobby G Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Very unprofessional of us to switch off at the end because they really werent threatening. Now all to do. Nzonzi has been magnificent. Salgado largely there to nullify their threat down the wing, which they realized in the 40th minute and thus switched Lennon to their left.
Exiled in Toronto Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Where the f was Robbo? It took forever to come over, was 5 yards out and he didn't come for it!!!
Steve Moss Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Ah, Premiership refereeing. If I was BFS I wouldn't even bring the team back on for the second half. This is a mockery. What recourse is there against a referee? Players are responsible to the manager, the manager to the chairman/board, the chairman/board to the owner, and the owner to the fans. At every level there is some accountability, except with referees. Why that is allowed to stand I haven't a clue.
