LOSE TODAY AND WERE IN DICKIES MEADOW...LIKE IT OR NOT....FACT :angry2:

A little half time trivia for those who do not reside in the counties of the white and red roses.

I understand that the phrase dates back to the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. Henry Tudor (House of Lancaster) defeated Richard of York and became King Henry VII.

Bosworth Field was later referred to as Dickies Meadow - where Richard (Dickie) - the last of the Plantaganents - died & lost the crown.

It was the last Battle of the Roses.

Oddly BBJ, I was wondering. Cheers for that.

BBC has Wigan dominating posession 55-45 and us way ahead on foul count. Is it really that bad?

Wigan only had 1 shot on target in the first half so I wouldn't say it's been 'bad' at all. The away team often has less possession, although our foul count is worrying.

But now it's 1-1. -_-
