Amo Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 People are missing the point. This isn't about flops in general, but players who had their Blackburn career ruined through injury.
Guest Wen Y Hu Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Bobby Svarc. A centre forward who daren't shoot because his knees were knackered! He was signed by Jim Smith from Colchester Utd. in 1975 Aahh, Bobby Svarc. One of my early heroes. Thanks for the memory... He's the only player I've ever known that used the diving header to lay it off to his partners in attack. In the Paul Dickov league in terms of stature, he also had a marvellous ability to control the ball with his chest. Remember him coming from Jim Smith's old club, Colchester, but had forgotten completely about the dodgy knees. Just looked it up and he was top scorer in 1976-77. Cracking player in the old Second Division.
