Heinz Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 With Diouf in the starting line up, aren't we already down to ten men anyway? and with Pedersen about to come on its 9,5

Bobby G Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Useless by Diouf. Di Santo off for Pedersen now. At least he wont play for 3 games now. FFS. Id like to see some effort in the second half.
Backroom Tom Posted January 2, 2010 Backroom Posted January 2, 2010 Di Santo off Pedersen on, at least Sams trying to preserve the goal difference, oh wait
Mr. E Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Everyone keep calm and remember it is all about Tuesday. No one will care about the third round of the FA cup when we're headed to Wembley. Just try to contain the damage...
Blue blood Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Diouf banned for three games is no big loss. Interestingly Di Santo has been substituted for Peds - although am not sure why we need an extra midfielder, to hold on to the 2-0 loss. It does suggest Franco is more likely to start against Villa than Kalinic on tuesday though imo. Being hard working if we wanted to be defensive, the more logical choice to take off would be Kalinic.
philipl Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 1545: Oh Dioufy, you had to try and ruin the day for everyone, didn't you? The latest misdemeanour from one of Britain's most easily dislikeable footballers sounds like a shocker. ...and that is the BBC
Guest Kamy100 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 This is by no means Villa's strongest eleven and they are crushing us.
Majiball Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Well thats any plan we had out the window. Two sub's left and Reid and Dunn on the field, no more tactical changes. Wilcox is doing his best to be kind to the team but he's right rubbish. I also notice Sam has made 9 changes from the last game, will he be investigated ala McCarthy.
Plastic Head Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Idiot Diouf been red carded Does this mean a 50 game ban?
ihtd Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 They are quite clearly not taking it seriously so why should we take the club seriously. The direction of this club right now is making me question my love of it. I'm fed up of paying money to see poor football played by over-paid idiots like Diouf, R. We need money and by not taking the FA Cup seriously we are as good as pissing away income from the only real chance of success we have baring the League Cup to generate some non-player sold income. This isn't a kneejerk reaction btw, its been brewing for many weeks now and I really feel sorry for the fans who have wasted their money travelling down to Villa Park this afternoon.
Bobby G Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 We better be seeing something that makes this outing seem worthwhile on Tuesday night. That's all I can say.
Backroom Tom Posted January 2, 2010 Backroom Posted January 2, 2010 Everyone keep calm and remember it is all about Tuesday. No one will care about the third round of the FA cup when we're headed to Wembley. Just try to contain the damage... To throw away our place in the FA cup is shocking in my opinion
DeadlyDirk Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 This is going to be the mother of all fight backs I can't wait, we'll win this easily.
bubblerrovers Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 We're the worst team in the premiership, all our games are dross, Of course we where guna lose today, wait till next Tuesday we'll be murdered.
Amo Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Everyone keep calm and remember it is all about Tuesday. No one will care about the third round of the FA cup when we're headed to Wembley. Just try to contain the damage... Quite right. I never expected us to get much out of today. I have us down for a 3-1 defeat.
Laurence Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Interesting man management going on here, put two young, unconfident strikers in a team which can't win...nice one Sam should do their confidence a power of good.
PAFELL Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Over to the expert- what's the answer Sam? He has already said that the carling cup and the league are the priority.
ptholt Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Wilcox's own words we had 11 premiership player out there today and we're being played off the park from the off, not good. Im guessing he means the villa team then...
RevidgeBlue Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Good to see our extended first team squad upon which we're lavishing 46m of our 50m turnover coming up trumps again..........
Miker Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 That's what happens when you completely change your backline. Fair play to Sam for giving the youngsters a go, but you have to expect a complete mess defensively if you change your back four and keeper and that's not something you want to happen against Villa.
Laurence Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Being pragmatic and prioritising is ok, not giving a sh1t isn't
Backroom Tom Posted January 2, 2010 Backroom Posted January 2, 2010 I commented in the chat room that i think rightly or wrongly the tide could turn against Sam in a big way should we be soundly beaten on Tuesday. That game takes on massive importance for him now.
nick123 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 mind you take a look round the half time scores..... how many are taking this serious.....
Plastic Head Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 BBC say we still haven't had a shot on or off target. It must have been a bad penalty...
PAFELL Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 expert go now!!! Do you think Rovers can afford another compensation payment for sacking a manager? Like it or lump it Rovers are stuck with Sam.
