jannerman Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Is this proof that Sam has lost the players? Or are Villa just that much better than us?

hollowsr Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Dunn's fed up of just chasing now, you can tell by his attitude just now as he threw his arms up as the ball gets passed from one side to the other!
Amo Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Is this proof that Sam has lost the players? Or are Villa just that much better than us? We're making it easy for them with our one-dimensional tactics.
Dan Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Sssshhhhh that's too positive Beerwins. What will nark me off is when (not if) Big Sam brings on McCarthy, Hoilett and Olsson in an effort to get back into the game. The question as always is why these kinds of players aren't starting. My thoughts exactly. It'll be too late by then too. You can bet your arse we'll play better after he has made the changes too, he just doesn't learn from previous mistakes does he? Villa have Dunne, who is a bit of a clown at times and their keeper looks suspect, but due to Sam starting EVERY match with the wrong line up.....
imy9 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 No closing down and poor distribution I am so bored and to be honest this is expected,I want Sam gone regardless my eyes are now fully open and I am smelling the coffee
ManicRover Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 So sad to see Warnock playing for Villa and Salgado scrambling around Rovers midfield...sigh....
beerwins Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I actually think we are trying, we just dont seem used too these tactics god knows we should be. I smell a plan b coming
G Somerset Rover Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Be interesting if the fans vent a few frustrations at half time should the score stay the same...
hollowsr Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Don't care what the commentators say that was a dive!
Dan Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Same old Vile Villa always cheating! Agbon-la-Whore :-(
Muddboy Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Samba's distribution is f'kin awful... Samba's completely lost the plot recently. He was woeful at City and his partnership with Nelsen is nowhere near what it was. When those two aren't on top of their games, we're always gonna ship goals. Rubbish.
roversfan1 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 According to the radio Villa should have had a penalt when Agbonlahor went down...
LeChuck Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Jason Wilcox on Radio Lancs says Salgado should have gone with him. Salgado was behind Milner, he's not quick enough to keep up with him, let alone overtake him. Nelsen saw the whole bloody thing, wasn't marking anyone and just let it happen.
Amo Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Salgado is all over the place. All the more reason why he should be play central, with Emerton out wide.
rebelmswar Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Have we strung more than three passes together?
G Somerset Rover Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 We need to make sure they dont get another before half time. BTW MGP has gone back to his amazing crap old self tonight.
hollowsr Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Salgado was behind Milner, he's not quick enough to keep up with him, let alone overtake him. Nelsen saw the whole bloody thing, wasn't marking anyone and just let it happen. It wasn't a case of him being too slow he was ball watching, he had him on edge of the area and then didn't follow, Kalinic is looking good for us, Gamst is being useless!
Dan Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Is this really at Ewood or Villa park? Sam will moan about missed chances again I guess. Nice impartial co-commentator on SKY. This line up is awful, what is he thinking, I thought we rested players in the FA Cup for this game? Impressed with Kalainic, if we played 442 and attacked he'd be a success I'm sure, maybe the next manager will let us see his potential. He'll proabably be subbed at half time for another striker..
novella Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I'm sick of this ######. Woeful absolutely woeful.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 1 attempt at home in 45 minutes. Effing useless.
hollowsr Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 1 attempt at home in 45 mins is f'in appalling!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Milner running at us....we back off and they get opportunities. Young running at us....we back off and they get opportunities. Agbonlacheat running at us....we back off and they get opportunities. We get the ball, we hoof it. We try and run at them but turn backwards because we can't out run them and we create no opportunities. This has been the case for years and years. Why can't managers who get paid silly money see this? We should just chant for 90mins "Buy pace!" "Buy pace!" "Buy pace!" "Buy pace!" "Buy pace!" until they get the bleedin message.
hollowsr Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Good save by Robbo there! Poor defending again
