We're not just losing 1-0, we're playing as badly as we have ever been. Useless in defense, utterly clueless in attack. Only Kalinic and Dunn trying, but can't beat 4 defenders on their own. And Villa should have had that penalty.

It's up to John Williams now to find the money and get rid of this clown. Today, preferably.

The back 4 have no confidence in Robinson and Robinson has no confidence in the back 4.

Lucky not to have given away 2 pens, although the first was a dive all he had to do was take another step and it was a pen.

We lack a leader in the Centre of the park. We lack good crosses. I think given the crosses Kalinic would take the chances so get the balls in.

Salgado off Hoilett on for me and maybe Ped off for Benni. Need to shake it up. Just not good enough I'm afraid!

It wasn't a case of him being too slow he was ball watching, he had him on edge of the area and then didn't follow, Kalinic is looking good for us, Gamst is being useless!

Perhaps I'm being too generous with Salgado then.

Nelsen still saw it all happen though, he wasn't doing a sodding thing stood where he was, he should have gone across to Milner because Jacobsen had whoever was at the back stick.

100% agree with what you have said.

Pathetic is how I would describe this performance, this is simply not good enough.

I would replace Salgado with Benni for the second half, play Dunn in the middle, Emerton on the right and Benni up front.

Absolutely spot on in all your points, too many changes all the time too if Sam doesnt know his best starting lineup by now he never will.

BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at Ewood Park: "Aston Villa so much more positive and with all the attacking variety. The pace and width provided by James Milner, Ashley Young, Stewart Downing and Gabriel Agbonlahor is posing a real threat. Chants of 'Big Sam Sort It Out' from the home fans. Not happy. Not happy at all."
