nicko Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Ince being linked to Burnley via the Sun, Mr Nixon is that you getting your own back on Burnley??? I think Paul is perfect for the Dingles and would be the perfect choice, he'd feel right at home in Burnley. Firstly, I don't work for The Sun. Secondly, I think I mentioned the names in the frame on here last night. Oddly O'Driscoll is now second favourite. Does nobody look into these things in depth? Like, how would he come across in an interview?

PAFELL Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Maybe Gartside could leave the Coyle cheque blank and just sign at the bottom.... save time so to speak. Sorry I don't understand your post - I know it is monday am but. I was suggesting that if Ince goes to Burnley then Andrews is likely to follow him to burnley - Gartside & coyle are at bolton and I presume so is the cheque book.

I was suggesting that if Ince goes to Burnley then Andrews is likely to follow him to burnley - Gartside & coyle are at bolton and I presume so is the cheque book. I would guess that it refers to Gartside, on issuing the compensation cheque for Coyle to burnley, should leave the 'payee' part blank so that when he hands it to Kilby, HE can write 'BRFC' on it and pop it in the post to Ewood, whilst Keith Andrews catches the train to T'Turd.

Oddly O'Driscoll is now second favourite. Does nobody look into these things in depth? Like, how would he come across in an interview? You did mention the names last night. Grayson being one I believe. I would be surprised if he did not stay at Leeds - but I suppose if he wanted the top flight now, then yes Burnley would have a chance.

Exiledfan Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Brian Laws is the hot tip this morning. Cue mass mourning amongst all Burnley fans.

I would be surprised if he did not stay at Leeds - but I suppose if he wanted the top flight now, then yes Burnley would have a chance. I have a good idea what Grayson is on at Leeds and what he could make at Burnley. It is whether he and his agent have the bottle to take on Ken Bates. Check the time-line and the developments. Who was the first boss they put a feeler out for? Who was the standby candidate? Out of work and keen...but still waiting. Who is the one with the good CV that they would really have to meet?

Thanks krillin. No wonder they are phasing cheques out soon. They are obviously too complicated for some.
Montfort Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 What a load of old ######. Why? If you disagree with a post I think you need to explain your rational and not assume that the reasoning is self evident. Otherwise this would lead to a very boring message board
CrazyIvan Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Thanks krillin. No wonder they are phasing cheques out soon. They are obviously too complicated for some. No, what you posted was so obtuse that it took you editing it and someone else guessing what you meant before it became a little clearer. Maybe you should post what you actually mean in future.

Out of work and keen...but still waiting. Who is the one with the good CV that they would really have to meet? Brian Laws for me all the way on the basis of no compensation needed. As I said in the close season Kilby and Flood imo are now seriously into the business of making hay whilst the sun is shining.

GRAYSON Who was the standby candidate? Out of work and keen...but still waiting.GRAYSON IS NOT OUT OF WORK!!!!! Who is the one with the good CV that they would really have to meet? GRAYSONS CV CANNOT BE FAULTED YET - TARNISHED IF HE GOES TO BURNLEY Thanks krillin. No wonder they are phasing cheques out soon. They are obviously too complicated for some. I think you were trying to phase out plain english.
Majiball Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Firstly, I don't work for The Sun. Secondly, I think I mentioned the names in the frame on here last night. Oddly O'Driscoll is now second favourite. Does nobody look into these things in depth? Like, how would he come across in an interview? It was only a bit of fun. I was under the impression that if Leeds get promoted the budgets will increase significantly, surely he's better off where he is.
thenodrog Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Fortunately Owen Coyle has more about him than you. Do you have to be quite so abrasive all the time? You might know Owen Coyle but you don't know me. I know that there is a certain amount of heat on you and your chum at the moment but there is no need to behave like a cornered rat by attacking everyone in sight. It was only a bit of fun. I was under the impression that if Leeds get promoted the budgets will increase significantly, surely he's better off where he is. Alan Nixon appears to have some difficulty grasping that particular concept.
Zulu Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Why? If you disagree with a post I think you need to explain your rational and not assume that the reasoning is self evident. Otherwise this would lead to a very boring message board You want me to justify my reasons for disagreeing with the tripe you posted? Not going to happen mate.
Majiball Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Suppose he has taken a bit of abuse over the last week or so. I just thought linking them to Rovers legendary ex-manager would be an apt reply and set off one or two Dingles. However if Ince does somehow get an interview, what price he gets it?? Must give a good one, he fooled JW & Co.
dulwich Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Steve Clarke is a favourite at Ladbrokes, has he been mentioned on here?
47er Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 On the Ince thing, I have no idea whether there is any truth in it by the way, I know he had a torrid time with you guys but what were the main issues, his signings? Tactics? Was he genuinely a useless manager or was he just the wrong choice for you at the time? All of that and more.
Montfort Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You want me to justify my reasons for disagreeing with the tripe you posted? Not going to happen mate. My post was reasoned, thoughtful, and interesting whilst yours ....
Hughesy Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Markets keep changing, there have been several favourites - Clarke, Grayson, Davis, Laws, Jewell. Latest to crash is O'Driscoll - probably thanks to a certain link on here He was 25/1 this morning, now 7/2. Grayson is out to 10/1.
Amo Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Please be Ince, please be Ince, please be Ince....
begresko Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 What about George Burley, surely worth a mention. Decent calibre manager, early 50's, not currently connected to any club...
