Oh come now - it was banter and was in direct response to a statement about Rovers being known in Europe.

It was just a bit of fun for gods sake.

Did I touch a nerve?

The plot thickens.

A third manager had a call BETWEEN the two interviews today.

And within 2 minutes this gets quoted on Clarets Bonkers site!!

Quality!

They still don't like you Nicko!

Btw - is there a gap between us and Notlob? And if so is that closing or widening?

A name we might get some good odds on Nicko?

The only thing I would bet on right now is Portsmouth and Bristol City in a double tonight...followed by Asaton Villa ht/ft on Thursday.

So you would not bet on another managerial change this week. ;)

There will be an almighty gap between you and the White Brazilians very shortly...as you are probably aware.

Can anyone access the latest odds on the dingle job?

What are the top 4 favs and what odds if you could?!

O'driscoll 1.78

Laws 2.3

Lee Clark 80

Curbs/grayson both at 90

Sorry i work in decimals. This is off betfair. Interesting market, if its not top two then someone will cash in big. I love betting these fluctuating markets. Bet on a thoughtful gut shot and lay him when the odds drop.

This is quite true - few people can forget the sight of the Rovers players knocking ten bells out of each other.

erm.......you forgot to mention lots of people saw us lifting trophies too :rover:

The last memorable plane trip for Bumley fans had a banner trailing from it.:lol:

I can still see the happy smiling faces on t`turf that day

I do hope it's Megson.

3rd man - Curbishley? Out of work...has said he would work up north - heavily linked before...........

Or maybe Chris Evans (not the dj) who has just left Bolton after rejecting a job working for Coyle

Derek McInnes to follow Coyle from Burnley. That would be an interesting move. Thats the sort of lackadaisical thinking I would associate with flood etc

You need the fans to follow you and believe in you.

Which is why it hurts when they clear off for one of your neighbours.

I'm worried, very worried. I've just read that from a Blackburn Rovers perspective.....

I think what you say is correct, nicko, and none of it seems to apply to us. :(

What are you talking about, Sam is very quotable. ;)

There will be an almighty gap between you and the White Brazilians very shortly...as you are probably aware.

And so it begins... :P

This thread is going to be fun if we are both looking for Managers at the same time.

Unless the dingles come in for Sam - the current attitude by Rovers is maybe 'we'll pay you to take him, we'll give you a player, Andrews'.

Read on one of the other threads that Sam is supposed to have blanked the directors of rovers - so relationships maybe a bit strained, if true of course.

Do Laws at 48 and O'Driscoll at 52 fit Flood's original template of "young and hungry" exactly?

This latest news hasn't necessarily come from snooping off this site, the "short list" has been on Sky for a few hours as you said it would be.

This may be wishful thinking, but something just doesn't add up about Laws.

The only criteria I can think he meets is the fact that he comes relatively hassle free and he's a former player. There's no way he'd be in the running had he not played for us.
