We need to get hold of them Owen Coyle masks that were given out at the morgue last season, how good would it be to have the away section at there place full of OC masks on derby day :D

Yep, I'd definitely be up for that. Might you be able to gather a few (hundred) Gav? Maybe a whip round could get a few hundred more from Hughesy's site. Optimistic I know.

So the scenario is going to be as follows:

A couple of thousand Rovers fans chanting "Allardyce out!" whilst wearing facemasks of Bolton Wanderers' manager. Meanwhile the Burnley fans are singing "We hate Bolton more than you, we hate Bolton more than you!"

And we've got rid of Megson!

You couldn't make it up. :P

You wish - you will never be that important to any other team, least of all Burnley or Blackburn. Nobody cares enough about Bolton to have a rivalry with you.

You are however temporarily high on our dislike list - it will pass, as will Mr Coyle if another job comes along.

I mentioned on here a while back that I would have gone for Simon Grayson, but bearing in mind he will no doubt see the job through at Leeds, I would then have approached Paul Lambert. However, I am delighted that they have chosen Brian Laws (stop laughing at the back) who will give them a speedy, one way ticket to the Championship and beyond. Couldn't be better.

Looking into it, could be possible.

I do recall the police turning away Rovers fans with T-shirts on depicting the fly over back in the late 90’s, maybe we’ll have to wear the OC masks inside out until we get into the ground…….

Be very careful not to pre empt situations!!!

Brian Laws does seem an odd appointment but lets see how he goes before we comment too much, I would hate us to be left with egg on our faces, but hang on here, has he got a pro license??

Now that would be very interesting to know!!

Brian Laws for me all the way on the basis of no compensation needed. As I said in the close season Kilby and Flood imo are now seriously into the business of making hay whilst the sun is shining.

I thank you. :tu:

'Milk the (cash) cow' policy at t'turf. Obvious to a blind man on a galloping horse and all that.

Do you know one of these days I will drop a completely random name on here and link him with a job and see how far it goes... ^_^

Lets not confuse the talk of the fans with that of the team.

Regardless of what has happened it would have been an important fixture for us to try and win - now it has extra spice.

Having watched the Arsenal game I didn't quite see this wonderous performance you all did - looked much like we've seen at Burnley all season without the crisp passing - similar standard of finishing.

... and we'll still finish above you at the end of the season, no matter what happens next Tuesday. But you knew that already.
