[Archived] Megson Sacked, Coyle Takes Over

I'm not sure the situations are entirely comparable.

Laws was not currently at Wednesday, Coyle was at Burnley. As such Wednesday were not left quite so in the lurch. I'm not sure people were that concerned about the backroom staff per se, other than feeling a little let down by Steve Davis. The concern was the manager left and took the entire first team 'team', leaving the club with youth team coaches only at the most crucial stage of the season.

All that said, we seem to have moved on, perhaps it is time you did too?

How did the 'Burnley break wage structure' scoop turn out for you Nicko?

Looked a bit daft(er) on that one, eh?

Brian Laws' Claret and Blue Army!

I've got to be honest, that does have a ring to it... Especially when it's rattling round Gresty Rd, Brunton Park & Glandford Park !

You tell me. Did you check it out?

I suppose Kilgallon would turn down Everton's dough to join you for less...

Hmm.

No one would suppose that. But only you suggested we would break our wage structure.

WRONG!

Aw, bless. Your source feeding you duff info these days?

And you used to be so in-the-know too...

Go away **** head, we're not interested in what you've got to say, agent Nicko is doing a great job.

Still hurting over the footballing lesson we gave you earlier in the season :tu:

I know what the offer was which gives me a slight advantage over you.

Seem to have got the managerial appointment right.

And your first signing.

Keep up.

What happened to the 'double Devon Loch' prediction with Laws and O'Driscoll?

You're beginning to sound like someone who backs every horse in the National and then brags about picking the winner.

Check the Mirror on the day after the two were interviewed...

You had two managers in for an interview, you kept sounding out a third.

Is this THAT hard for you to understand?

Why someone would read the Mirror... yeah, I am struggling with that.

Chin up though, you're bound to get one right soon.

Love this from the Daily Mail article:

Nimani will become new boss Brian Laws at the end of the season

Really? In a sort of Tom Hanks in big type way, i.e. are they swapping bodies or will he literally morph before our eyes into Brian Laws?

To be fair he said don't be surprised if that happens, not that it was a given. It maybe annoying Sam but he was bang on with Laws (and I suspect O'D not interviewing well), bang on with this signing and (perhaps less surprisingly) bang on with Coyle and Bolton

Mate not being funny but F**K off, you talked sh*t about the derby game leading up to it then didn't have the balls to show your face for a month afterwards and now you blame a journalist for your manager leaving and take it as a personal mission to try and show him up which everyone knows you will lose!
