BPF Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I met my wife is 2006. She is American and knows nothing about football but made this comment: "I like that you support Blackburn because they are an uncertain team, they could easily surprise you by beating a team like Man United. The season must be really exciting for you." That is what I loved about supporting Blackburn. Little, small town Blackburn would always go for it against the odds and over the years we have been treated to many great victories. I miss watching games full of cautious optimism. I don't even watch away games in public anymore for fear of being embarrased. Everything has become predictable. It's not even against the top four anymore, Sam appears to think that it is pointless even going up against the top ten.
beerwins Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 An even bigger crime is the way we are using Di santo, we are ruining his chances of going to the world cup because his role is nothing more than hold up the ball, I would like to see what the lad can do alongside kalinic.
Backroom trueblue Posted January 11, 2010 Backroom Posted January 11, 2010 We have no movement, no creativity and when we get the ball we stand still and play sidewards - backwards - any way except bloody forwards !!
ABBEY Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I can understand the negativity, but why bother? This is Man City. The chance of not losing was very slim, no matter who was manager or if Andrews was playing or not. Let's just hope we improve a bit and create some chances. TELL THAT TO what does that mean? LEEDS
wandel77 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Booooring we play like its a practice !!! No Speed at all, and we are playing Kick % Rush lige the old days hmpf.!
BRFC1995 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Is it wrong to be making money on our misery? I've got bets on tonight's game, all in favour of City, already got some back with Tevez scoring! Got us down not to score as well!! i was doing that regularly in the last months of the ince and souness regimes......betting on the opposition and knowing in your head its as safe a bet as you'll ever make, your happy to lose money in these situations.
Backroom Tom Posted January 11, 2010 Backroom Posted January 11, 2010 Awful stuff city have it won already in their heads is that easy This is what u get for playing for a draw
speeeeeeedie Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Not very good is it? City have far too much pace and energy up front for us. Going 1 down early doesn't help either. It is looking like a long cold night for the 800.
Backroom DE. Posted January 11, 2010 Backroom Posted January 11, 2010 City are sitting off us now, letting us play around with the ball and push up. Unfortunately we're not doing much with it, but there is some opportunity here if we can take it.
BPF Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I don't understand the people saying "Why are you so negative, it is City and we were always going to get beat." That is the exact attitude that Lone striker Sam takes into these games. It doesn't matter how likely to get beat we are, you aim to win every game!
Alex Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 800 away fans for a match at Man city says it all.................. ESPN said 450
G Somerset Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Di Santo. He's getting absoloutely eff all service. Dunn is the nearest to him about 50 metres away.
Daremz Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You see Phil Jones, David Moyes, gnifflin'..."At least two relegation-spots are given-away"...(Wolves and us)... Kalinic in, Nelsen off.
nick123 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 That poor kid...There no one within miles of him...not my words The words of Alan Green Radio5 about Di Santo
bubblerrovers Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I feel sorry for our players they are just not very good. It's boys against men every week. Without money we simply can't compete
adopted scouser Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 We're always doomed wearing that kit, add a crap keeper, a fat clueless manager and a brainless bog trotter in midfield and I'm stretching for the whisky and paracetamol as we speak.

It is looking like a long cold night for the 800. ESPN guy said our fans total 450! Respect to them. Typical first half performance from us. look forward to better in the second. Still in the game at 0-1 as I type.

It is looking like a long cold night for the 800. Samba's all over the place - what's happened to him tonight? Very average from the rest.
novella Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Get me up front I'll hit the ###### target for 150 quid a week. Better than our ###### up front
Heinz Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Atleast Pedersen, Givet and Nzonzi have contributed to our shots on row 34h.
Manc Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Pedersen abysmal, even by his own pathetic standards!
