sparkspakespoke Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Has now kicked off after all the drama over the last few days, and the opening result looks like being a shocker. Mali losing three nil to Angola, Mali have some very decent players as well guess home advantage must be playing a big part. Its now four one, an exciting game to open with!

AggyBlue Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 First mach has finished :- Angola 4-4 Mali Was this not on TV? Are any games on TV?
Hughesy Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 4-4. 4-1 down with 20 mins to go and came back!
Jim Royle Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 wow, 4 goals in the last 11 mins to "earn" a draw - strange game, The Angolan fans must be riversiders - the stadium was only half full with 10 mins left and it had full earlier!
bennyboyt11 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 All kicked off before the game apparently, some of the Angolan fans slipped the escort and smashed up one of the main city centre pubs, could be some unsavoury scenes on the news tomorrow.
jodrell Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Later rounds are on BBC not sure what rounds.
AggyBlue Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Eurosport Aggy. Sky channel 412. Ah, cheers Den. Not on my TV then.
Tris Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Later rounds are on BBC not sure what rounds. Final on BBC2, Semis on BBC3 and red button Malawi v Algeria currently live on Eurosport and Eurosport HD, Malawi just took the lead (1-0)
T4E Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Eurosport Aggy. Sky channel 412. More trying to be helpful than pedantic (on this occasion), but 412 is Eurosport HD. Those of us with regular Sky you want channel 410.
Blackpool_Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Well the last 2 days have confirmed the ridiculous over-excitement at the current state of African football. The so called 'favourites' who have been touted to give some european teams a run for their money in the world cup have all flopped so far. Crap
