Nicko are the rumours true about Roberts going to Wigan for £1.5 million and whats the latest on the contracts of Dunn/Pedersen

The Roberts story would be a surprise. No word on Dunny's deal. I don't think Pedersen will be staying - he could go in the window if anyone offers a decent fee.

He was never going to be backed in the market whilst his team wasnt performing for him, and having vocal players against you never helps the situ.

I would say there was no crisis except on the pitch to be honest, maybe all boards fight over the management team they have in place.

Be interested to see who Sam can persuade to sign.

McCarthy has talent but he does not apply himself as he should. He does not fit comfortably into any high-energy team.

He does have something to offer if you play with two up front against a side you should dominate.

I did notice that you had two out-and-out strikers today which was also interesting.

It was back to 4-4-1-1 second half, I think? Seemed that way to me anyway.

Anyone know who all the photographers were snapping like crazy in the posh little box that sits above the players' tunnel before today's game.

Lots of toffs in swanky suits (normally nobody sits there). For a moment, I thought it might have been a new investor/owner...

I really hope the Wigan rumor is true. What is the source?

Whats the betting that by say thursday both Meriem and Lingazni will be on board, I'm thinking it's looking likely now.

If they are as billed, that would be exciting news. Meriem as a 'passing' midfielder and Linganzi as a young attacking midfielder. :xmas:

Meriem's wiki already has him signed on with us (likely an error as they identify January 11 as the signing date). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meriem

He does offer moments of class - but he also gives the ball away at daft times and in stupid places.

Football is all about opinions - and I am sure many Rovers fans wouldn't agree with me - so would be interested in your views.

as opposed to robbo giving it away every time he hoofs it (under orders) up the pitch.

Nicko are Arsenal really going to pay 7m for Smalling? Seems very steep for someone who has played a handful of games in the Premiership

It will take a lot to get him, the word is he is special.

The guy who told me also gave me the Galindo signing...so I will take his word. ;)

How is the situation looking any different at all from that which Allardyce advised in December?

Not much activity either way anticipated, we have to sell before we buy?

SmaLling is a defender for Fulham they got him from Maidstone, only played 9 games for them but according to Nicko in tomorrow's mirror Arsenal are after him

You have tomorrow's mirror? Who win's the 3.40 at Wolverhampton?

Anywho, I assume it's on the online edition? Seems like a lot of money for someone with such little experience, English I assume though so perhaps Arsene is thinking about the homegrown rules. 7m sounds a bit high though.

So fuming they are going to sign Senderos?

I think it is more likely that they will take Kilgallon.

Cue Burnley fans screaming and accusing me of undermining them. Again.

Mind you, Yobo has just got injured - so they could take Senderos on loan but I would reckon Kilgallon may just come sooner than his proposed switch in the summer.

Nicko - would be interested in your opinion on Benni.

Personally - I thought his overall game today was poor. We scored from a very poor Benni corner where we got lucky - and the second from an absolutely brilliant delivery.

He does offer moments of class - but he also gives the ball away at daft times and in stupid places. Personally I feel his moments of class are out weighed by general poor play and attitude. For every moment of class - there are more negative areas that give away possession that ultimately (though not always directly) leads to goals against.

Football is all about opinions - and I am sure many Rovers fans wouldn't agree with me - so would be interested in your views.

spot on
