RibbleValleyRover Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Dear god i hope its not Guti! 33 years old, would cost £40k+ per week and is well past his prime. Actually it sounds like a Sam signing...

Backroom Tom Posted January 19, 2010 Backroom Posted January 19, 2010 The little man thing was a hint but not at Guti. Alan Wright returns
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I know that was mentioned a few weeks ago but it has gone very quiet. I will try to find out. The South Korean kid at Bolton looks a player - and I am not just saying that because of the new manager. That winger from Korea looks a good signing for me as well. He runs at people and he can cross a decent ball.
Ste B Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 The little man thing was a hint but not at Guti. Alan Wright returns The little man is Nicko... According to Big Sams post match interview on Sunday.
T4E Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 The little man is Nicko... According to Big Sams post match interview on Sunday. That seems to have passed me by, where can I see this?
Backroom Tom Posted January 19, 2010 Backroom Posted January 19, 2010 The little man is Nicko... According to Big Sams post match interview on Sunday. I know. I also know that Alan Wright isn't really coming back, sorry to dash any hopes.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Guti is most likely going to stay at Real until the end of the season before joining Inter Milan according to Revista La Liga. Basically not a chance we could get him. At a guess the midfielder in question will be from England as Sam wants someone who he knows can make an impcat.

Maybe time for Joey Barton's name to come up again? Reo Coker, O'Neill was mentioned recently, I guess it all depends on whether or not Sam has been given any funds, otherwise it'll be a loan signing or a wheeling and dealing one I guess.
ABBEY Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 He seems down to earth when you chat with him... amazing how you get to know someone when your having a slash next to someone in the stage door ?
RoverRich Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 That winger from Korea looks a good signing for me as well. He runs at people and he can cross a decent ball. I thought that as well when I watched him on sunday against Arsenal. Looked to have all the necessary attributes to be a decent winger. He was tricky, pacey and had a good cross on him. How much did he cost Bolton?? Permanent or loan?
ultrablue Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 2 million permanent. Prices for players from the K league are never that high.
Hughesy Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 amazing how you get to know someone when your having a slash next to someone in the stage door ? I wouldnt know Abbey - perhaps you do!?
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 2 million permanent. Prices for players from the K league are never that high. Do you think they'd do a swap to get Diouf back ? I'd throw Pedersen in as well. Buy one get one free, how about it Zulu ?
nicko Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Earlier than advertised... The player Big Sam wants is Uruguayan midfielder Eguren at Villarreal. Available on loan after a row with his coach - wants to play to stay sharp for World Cup finals. Approach made by two of manager's friendly agents. Cue denials and molehunts. Evening.
hollowsr Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Been suspended for doing cocaine before Decent pedigree, 24 caps for Uruguay, ever present for Villarreal last season, sounds like a battler in midfield.
rebelmswar Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Been suspended for doing cocaine before Well at least he will be frisky.
ffan Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Well at least he will be frisky. Just so long as he doesn't play to high up on the pitch

He's no Keith Andrews. Is there a YouTube video so we can assess how good his pointing is...
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Obviously not been given any money then!
Backroom Tom Posted January 19, 2010 Backroom Posted January 19, 2010 Couldn't give a damn if he snorted half of Columbia before a match if he was a good un. That being said I know nothing about him.
Lurid Coat Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 He'd walk straight into our team. Reel him in quickly. He actually wasn't all that when playing for Rosenborg in the Norwegian league, but he's been excellent for Villareal, a team that's almost always up there battling it out for a Champions League place (often suceeding too). Face it - if you're good enough to play next to Marcos Senna, you'd probably be good enough for a place in the Rovers first XI.
