broadsword Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Wonder if keith would play better if he had a couple of lines of toot up his hooter? We could bring him on for a ten minute cameo.

Kelbo Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 Couldn't give a damn if he snorted half of Columbia before a match if he was a good un. That being said I know nothing about him. Wiki says he's a defensive midfielder !!!
John Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Gary O'Neil Tony Pulis has tabled a bid for Middlesbrough midfielder Gary ONeil in the region of £4million. He has attracted interest from Blackburn, Everton and Fulham but they dont have the cash to compete with Stoke. Sorry, this was meant to be in Sam's targets
Lurid Coat Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 He's not as defensive as, say, his team mate Marcos Senna. He's not a Makelele type, but more of an energetic player that likes to get about on the pitch. Can pass a football longer than one yard as well. Bit surprised that some of you haven't heard about him, tbh. He'd be our best midfielder by far if he came in, unless he's suddenly suffered from a dramatic loss in form.

tony gale's mic Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Gary O'Neil Tony Pulis has tabled a bid for Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O’Neil in the region of £4million. He has attracted interest from Blackburn, Everton and Fulham but they don’t have the cash to compete with Stoke. Sorry, this was meant to be in Sam's targets That is truly depressing. We don't have the cash to compete with Stoke.
Majiball Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Wouldn't say no to Eguern: Knock yourselfs out
Zulu Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Do you think they'd do a swap to get Diouf back ? I'd throw Pedersen in as well. Buy one get one free, how about it Zulu ? What do you think? Very shrewd, that there Megson.
blue and whites Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 it would have been real nice to see eguren play for rovers. i have actually played a couple of matches alongside him in midfield for rosenborg second team. he had a bad period at rosenborg because he never really got a chance there. but from what i have seen of him in spain, he is a real good player. he is a playmaker type, that also likes to get inside the box.
CrazyIvan Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Just so long as he doesn't play to high up on the pitch Brilliant!
alexanders Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Eguren's fall out with his coach at Villareal is one the big reasons why Villarreal are struggling this year. I say as others, Reel him in!
Bobby G Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I didnt know he was such a mainstay in their team. I dont think he is a key element of Villareal anyway personally.
alexanders Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 On Eguren: On January 30, 2008, Eguren was loaned to Villarreal CF of the Spanish first division, until the end of the season.[2] Almost immediately cast into the starting XI, he partnered Brazilian-born Marcos Senna in centre midfield, as the Yellow Submarine obtained its best position ever in the topflight (second). In May 2008, Villarreal decided to buy Eguren, whom penned a three-year deal.

Guest andrewpickup Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Molly has left Tyrone & Kevin is worried at the garage! id like to see dev partner dave 'tyrone' dunn in midfield
niggit Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 If we can't do his wages, offer him a few grams
thenodrog Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 That is truly depressing. We don't have the cash to compete with Stoke. We haven't had for some time. Stoke having a bob or two behind them is old news. They need to be careful though as any club does of spending beyond their means. 1. It'll screw em over eventually...always does. 2. Like with BRFC it 'spoils' a whole new generation of supporters who think the false position is the norm and will contiue forever.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Has someone informed this chap that Robbie Fowler's now left the club?
Gambit217 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Earlier than advertised... The player Big Sam wants is Uruguayan midfielder Eguren at Villarreal. Available on loan after a row with his coach - wants to play to stay sharp for World Cup finals. Approach made by two of manager's friendly agents. Cue denials and molehunts. Evening. Skysports News are reporting that West Ham have bid £1.25m for Benni ? Have you heard anything of this ?
S15 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 TBH I don't think there's that much cryptic scope with that one. West Ham have bid £1.25m for Benni McCarthy.
Gambit217 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 TBH I don't think there's that much cryptic scope with that one. West Ham have bid £1.25m for Benni McCarthy. I'm just wondering if they actually have, I wouldn't put Skysports News down as the most accurate for Rovers speculation. Also, would Rovers be willing to accept that fee for him?
Jackson Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I had a dream last night that we were so skint, we had to buy a female striker. Even wierder, it was Santa Cruz's girlfriend. I need to get out more.
