jim mk2 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Nicky Marker was a much better player than Andrews though. When he made a tackle the opponent knew it! Marker could also head the ball forwards instead of sideways or backwards, pass the ball accurately over 10 yards and read the game, all basic footballing skills that Andrews lacks. As the manager's pet, no doubt Andrews sets out the cones before training and collects them all himself afterwards, and scrubs the manager's back in the bath, but the Ewood crowd aren't fooled and they know a poor player when they see one. The player I would compare Andrews to is Graham Oates, another talentless midfield player from the 1970s. Good character, would keep running all day and always willing to follow the manager's instructions etc etc but basically hopeless.

tonyoz Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Can I point out that Rovers have not bought proven players since Jack's heyday. Yes Joey and even back in the day we bought our share of fringe players and stiffs: Alan Wright, Le Saux, Sherwood, Newell, Hendry come to mind. I'm sure there are others I've forgotten.
mhead Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 And now only 29 days to the Legend that will be KEEF scoring the winner at the Turd.
mhead Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 This is all a result of Keith's upbringing in Galway. I blame it on his parents and the Catholic church. The aim should be to 'point' him in the direction of the Dingles.
JAL Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 And now only 29 days to the Legend that will be KEEF scoring the winner at the Turd. Lets just pray that hes nowhere near Turf Moor on that day otherwise we'll be singing 'we've only got ten men'.
braddock Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Lets just pray that hes nowhere near Turf Moor on that day otherwise we'll be singing 'we've only got ten men'. yeah good one. unnerve one of our players when playing a crucial match. prat. i kinda want him to start that game now. he isn't good enough to start but it'd be great to see some of the miserable gets on this board sh*t themselves.
braddock Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Hatreds Knew I is an anagram of Keith Andrews. i mash crabs is an anagram of chris samba

Amo Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Portsmouth's blundering defender Marc Wilson has been called up to the RoI squad. He's rated by both Trapattoni and Avram Grant - must be a good player, eh?
T4E Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Don't bring the troll back out, Topman! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony
T4E Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Yes, I knew he was being ironic, but it could still provoke another rambling by Keef's agent/brother/sex pet/Jonnolad. No, the irony was in your response.
martmitch Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Hopefully Keith will learn a few things from brazil tonight
Amo Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Andrews was limping for a few moments. Jan's voodoo doll almost did the trick!
RovertheHill Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Great finish. Now if he can just remember which end he should be at....
Stuart Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Quality finish. I thought the keeper had his angles covered too.
Guest roverspogges Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 To be fair he had to try and block the ball across but it is funny though!
Stuart Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 In fairness, it was definitely offside. I actually feel slightly sorry for the lad.
