Keith gets abuse every week from the fans, so he's either reached boiling point or whoever angered him said something very nasty.

Either way, I'm baffled Andrews is getting picked to start games. Sam must see an attribute in him that nobody else does.

Didn't know whether to laugh or cry, when, in the first half over by the Riverside, super Keith got the ball in acres of space - and all I can think is that he decided to tackle himself.

Anyway, he fell in a heap with no-one around him and Everton nearly scored from the breakaway.

Tell you what den, Keith could make a fortune once he retires selling blooper video's.

Its also a great pity they got rid of what happens next on question of sport as no-one would guess that in a few years time.

If you can detach from the fact he's a rovers player he's the most entertaining thing on the pitch.

What can be said about Keith that hasn't been said before. Many times.

Even his supporters must surely agree with his detractors that Keith being named in the starting line up has a negative effect - even if it's only on the mood of the supporters.

Had miss today due to illness but my Dad rang me afterwards cos we sit right next to the bench so he obviously had prime viewing for the incident. Not sure why people are slagging the lad off who had a go, unless you know him or know what he said you shouldn't be mouthing off. I've sat in front of the lad for a few years now and he's sound. Clearly doesn't like Andrews and probably gives him a bit more stick than I think is called for but then again it is frustrating to see the lad picked week in week out.

However as we've said before he doesn't pick the team so it's unfair some of the stick he puts up with. Anyway he's given him stick quite a few times and it seems like today was the straw that broke the camel's back. Daft thing is he threw a water bottle and it hit the woman next to the lad in question so i think a few had a go back cos of that. He's lucky cos the lad who had a go has a heavily pregnant wife and if he;d hit her with the bottle all hell would have gone off.

From what I was told nothing too nasty was said just the usual of he's sh** and not good enough etc so maybe just a culmination of stuff.

Andrews is a trucking disgrace.

He wears our shirt/colours and makes a moickery of them by imitating himself as a footballer.

As Den pointed out, that tackle on himself wasnt eve a good one.

When he plays Rovers lose, simple as that.

As for him jumping into the crowd, the girly boy couldnt have done any harm he would have even messed that up.

I dont want him wearing our shirt again.

I found it amusing that neither Givet or Salgado wanted to throw the ball to him when he came short for it (and was in acres of space). Even his teammates don't want to play with him, so why is he on the pitch?

Keith Andrews the worst premiership Rovers player ever, makes Ashley Ward look like Shearer. BUT, he never asked to be signed. He's completely out of his depth and surely knows this. Sam should never play him, he is a liability. I can undestand Sam playing him when no other option exists(though surely an under 16 player would be better?) but Grella was in the bench!

Because Sam is ###### clueless.

I saw it from where I was sitting at the back of the riverside, as he walked up the steps he sprayed and then launched his bottle at a fan before trying to leap over the barrier to get stuck into him/her. Luckily a load of the coaches and players held him back and eventually he sat down.

If he only showed some bite on the pitch instead of fannying around pointing and chasing shadows!

Can I start by saying that I am no Keith Andrews fan and hope he is sold in the summer, however a few observations from me:

1. Keith Andrews is clearly not a premiership footballer.

2. Being selected to play is clearly Big Sam's choice not Andrews.

3. He gives 100% in every game.

4. By all accounts he is a model professional who contributes to the club by doing what the club asks of him.

I have a real issue at the moment and the level of abuse being directed at him. Try putting yourself in his shoes, how would you perform if your home "fans" were booing you, ridiculing you, humiliating you- will this make you play better or worse?

If people want to boo- boo Sam who is making the decision to play him or Williams for giving him a 4 year deal- what has he done? Spat at a fan (like EHD) or put no effort in (like MGP)?

Finally I hope the club investigate the incident with the bottle and get to the bottom of who is at fault.

All we want is for Andrews to put a transfer request in.......is it that difficult!!

Would you seriously if you were in his position?

You work hard, are a model professional and feel that you can contribute, would you quit? Keith Andrews does not seem like a quitter to me. If anything the boos probably make him more determined to do better!

1864- I agree I blame Ince for this signing.

The excuse for Keith is that he "gives 100%". Well he didn't do that today - lost the ball a couple of times and then jogged back. He doesn't even tackle. He could do himself (and us) a big favour by digging out some video's of Robbie Savage and simply copying him.

Why stay and get sh!t?

If I was him then id be off like a shot and get myself a nice tasty signing on fee at somewhere like Fulham.

Im sorry but he just isnt premier league quality.

Don't apologise I agree but I disagree with the level of abuse he is getting.

No he doesn't. A player putting in 100% would crunch into tackles, something Andrews has never done.

Yet it's the manager that chooses him, Hughesy. And don't say there's no alternative, because you know well full that's claptrap.

I agree it the manager who picks him & therefore he should take some blame for that....thats why I started the thread as selling him is the only way we can only be sure he doesnt turn up in blue n white anymore!

If standing around pointing is working hard and giving 100% then I could take his place in the team. I wonder how he trains, does he practice his pointing? Maybe when he retires from football he could become a traffic conductor?
