I have had cui (guinea pig) in Ecuador and yes it is tasty. Also had "elephant's ear" in Ecuador which in reality is a large thin slice of horse which is tenderised. The most interesting part of the meal was the four varieties of boiled potato it came with- all very different tastes. Potatoes apparently originate from Ecuador and there are 74 different varieties that are edible.

I'd love to try both! The latter sounds particularly lovely!

For me it's either kangaroo (yeah I felt guilty, those funny little guys bouncing around...) or a pellet out of one of my Manta Force guns when I was a little 'un.
