Also had "elephant's ear" in Ecuador which in reality is a large thin slice of horse which is tenderised. The most interesting part of the meal was the four varieties of boiled potato it came with- all very different tastes. Potatoes apparently originate from Ecuador and there are 74 different varieties that are edible.
