slough_rover Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Sam hasnt let us down in any of the games that really matter this season, so I expect he will have the boys fired up for this one too! Apart from pretty much every away game...

CrazyIvan Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 Apart from pretty much every away game... The away game thing could be said for almost every manager in this league this season with a couple of the usual suspects being the exception to the rule.
ABBEY Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Ivan you can mask and spin all you want..theirs only the scum and hull with worse away records than ours.if you think 6 points , 9 goals and 33 goals is good enough then your easy pleased
dazmaz Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Any one no when they will be taking the money out of peoples accounts for the tickets ? ta lee mine was taken yesterday
Hughesy Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Apart from pretty much every away game... Did you read what I put... 'When it matters' - yes we have been poor away - but we havent lost at the bottom clubs like previous seasons
cn174 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Did you read what I put... 'When it matters' - yes we have been poor away - but we havent lost at the bottom clubs like previous seasons Cos we haven't played half of them yet! You can hardly use getting beat at Sunderland, Birmingham, Fulham and Stoke, and drawing with West Ham and Wigan as evidence that we can turn it on 'when it matters'. The only away game that has been remotely any good has been Bolton.
CrazyIvan Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 Ivan you can mask and spin all you want..theirs only the scum and hull with worse away records than ours.if you think 6 points , 9 goals and 33 goals is good enough then your easy pleased Hahahahahahahahahaha.... It was a statement of fact. No spin or mask involved. I want my team to win every match, home and away so 6 points isn't enough. But we're in a bloody good position and I am happy with that. Oh, and it's 'There's...'
MarkBRFC Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 There's that default fear of losing to them though. But I reckon Sam knows more about this derby than his counterpart so we should be better prepared. I thought Brian Laws has a long history with the dingles? If so im guessing he'll know more than enough about this game. I think we're better than them, but our away form does concern me going into it! Looking forward to it either way though.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 You can bet your life that If our players put in a shocking performance Rovers fans will be fookin fuming....this really is THE game were they need to put 100% effort in! NO EXCUSES
Ossydave Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I think away form goes completely out of the window for this one, it's more like a cup game.
Hannah Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I think away form goes completely out of the window for this one, it's more like a cup game. Let's hope they don't play like they did in the FA Cup game vs Villa!
CrazyIvan Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 Brian Laws is on Goals on Sunday. Right, I'm off out...
ABBEY Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Oh, and it's 'There's...' oh and i think your confusing me someone who gives a f. its a massage bord not a english test
tonyoz Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Me too. I saw The Dingles live on TV against Chelsea and West Ham. Chelsea s*** themselves and West Ham crumbled. Burnley revel in playing at their little ground with 19000 or so slavering hillbillies screaming down their opponent's ears and come out swinging from the the kick off. Given our apalling away form I'd happilly take a point but I fear that they are due against us. What is worse is that they will probably slip from The Premier League having won the last derby. Many Dingles would be seriously happy with that. sambo Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I'm on Row DD, seat 30, coach 16. My mate works at the club shop and got onto the system
OscarRaven Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I'm on Row DD, seat 30, coach 16. My mate works at the club shop and got onto the system I think Rovers need a refresher on the data protection act, a few examples on this thread worry me.
Ben-2000 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Ticket purchase confirmed on my OneRovers booking history (dated 5/3/10)
sambo Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I think Rovers need a refresher on the data protection act, a few examples on this thread worry me. Well he looked at where he was sat, but I'm sat with him, so I'm probably seat 29 or 31. He was allowed to look, wouldn't be able to look at anybodys though.
Hughesy Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Ticket purchase confirmed on my OneRovers booking history (dated 5/3/10) No such luck for me yet!!
SAS Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I'm on Row DD, seat 30, coach 16. My mate works at the club shop and got onto the system Very interesting post. That rovers are recording each supporters seat details. Total big brother all this, NOT cool. Treat like criminals before we have done anything, sick of this happening as a football fan now, catch some real criminals ffs. I know plenty of bag heads into who consistently steal every day as do the police and these guys are allowed to enter any shop in blackburn yeet they arent followed around by the police with a digital recorder shoved in their face with their bus tickets monitored. ARGH Rant over.
modes98 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 They always record that level of info don't they Scott? It makes it a lot easier to decide who to ban when an incident happens.
riverside returns Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Seat details are always recorded and the issue with the buses is to ensure that those who wish to sit together, get the opportunity. It is not big brother at all just common sense ticket and coach allocation.
