braddock Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 how much did we charge their adults in the home game this season?
Will Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Going Postal Postal applications only. Only 2 away games required for season ticket holders. That is a disgrace. So those that have been to most of the games could miss out to someone that has been to Bolton & Wigan?
rovers1995 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Will be well mad if I don't get one and someone whos been to 2 gets one ahead of me. I've been to 6 so far and could understand if someone who has been to 7 or more gets them ahead of me. Also, we all know what Rovers are like with post. I live on the same street as the ground and guaranteed I'll get my application form last. Also, how will if we manage to get tickets be able to sit next to friends/family if we're applying by post.

We've been to a fair few as well and I don't want to miss out on this one. 2 seems remarkably low.

Hughesy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 2 games is enough...they will of looked at the figures and realised that would more or less fulfil our away fan needs to make sure those that have been this season get 1. Cant wait!!
Will Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I've just run the ticket office up to complain. They said, that they have calculated that those that have 2+ away games against their account number will be almost certain of a ticket. I can not believe that one bit.
Hughesy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 THE club has said on their site.....if you have been to 2 or more away games & your a ST holder, you are GUARANTEED A TICKET if you Apply....read it, and stop panicking! Tickets are £35, FREE TRAVEL which you have to travel on!
Will Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 THE club has said on their site.....if you have been to 2 or more away games & your a ST holder, you are GAURANTEED A TICKET if you Apply....read it, and stop panicking! Doh !!!!
braddock Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 you are GAURANTEED A TICKET if you Apply if it's spelled like that i wouldn't blame people for not taking it as gospel.
unluckymorton Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 THE club has said on their site.....if you have been to 2 or more away games & your a ST holder, you are GAURANTEED A TICKET if you Apply....read it, and stop panicking! It does clearly state that ANY season ticket holder who as purchased 2 or more away tickets against their customer number will be GUARANTEED a ticket. You can't really ask for more than that can you?
Hughesy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 if it's spelled like that i wouldn't blame people for not taking it as gospel. Good spot!

Tickets are £35, FREE TRAVEL which you have to travel on! Shall we have a sweep on how many pages of complaints about the 'free' travel that is compulsory. 'but I live in Accy, I'm half way there' 'I don't want to go on a bus I want to mingle with all the inbred scum and cause mayhem' 'Why should I make it easier for the authorities to manage' blah blah blah.
Hughesy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 And the pages of 'my postal application never arrived', 'they dont have me on the database', 'The tickets never turned up'. Simple really - plan it all now, ring the club, check your on the database with at least 2 tickets and then there are no complaints later!
Will Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 So tickets are going to be sent out in the post. How will they stop you from making your own way there then ?
braddock Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 i really hope none of the rovers fans complain about the free travel. i remember laughing at the dingles for complaining about it when they had it. makes sense in terms of safety. and the fact that the first game was such a success in terms of matchday trouble i'd be surprised if there would be loads of people who can argue against it. there will be a few though, rabitting on about draconian measures So tickets are going to be sent out in the post. How will they stop you from making your own way there then ? i imagine there will be some form of system where you get off the coach and go straight into the ground and you can only get into this area if you come off the coach. police escort and all that.
only2garners Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 So tickets are going to be sent out in the post. How will they stop you from making your own way there then ? They won't but you won't be able to get into the Rovers section of the ground unless you come by coach.
Hughesy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 They won't but you won't be able to get into the Rovers section of the ground unless you come by coach. You would think so wouldnt you, but Im not so sure thats correct. In the season we went down & played them at Turd, we went by coach but managed to get out of the police line simply said we were going meeting family (we actually just wanted a pint) and then we just walked back in later without any problems.....so im not convinced they wouldnt allow you in....however I wouldnt risk my ticket for it!
CrazyIvan Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 I don't care about the 'restrictions'. I'd rather have a fun day out and enjoy the atmosphere. It will be fantastic if it's anything like 2000. Can't wait now
london-rover Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 why is it costing rovers £5 to post my ticket down to london! iv been to 14 away games this year and iv either picked up my ticket from the ticket office or got it posted down to me! will see if i can pick it up chelsea game otherwise il be shipping out £40 for the ticket and it being sent down! does the burnley ticket come in a massive box so rovers have to pay £5 postage and packaging?

london-rover Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 ah right i see, hopefully i will be able to pick it up at the chelsea game then!
