Commondore Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Sinisa Mihajlovic has been in talks with Fiorentina today, they went well.Could be named Fiorentina manager early next week.No sign of an Inter hi-jack. Jose has just had dinner with Moratti,If he's leaving for Real the official announcement must be any day now. Can you please explain the allusions made to racism earlier in the thread about Mihajlovic? Quote

Billy Castell Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Sinsa was done for racially abusing Patrick Vieria in a Champions League match, and also asked the Lazio Ultras to make a banner commemorating his friend Arkan. Quote

RibbleValleyRover Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Well Jose has got the Madrid job. Can't see him lasting more than a season. He might win a trophy or two but the Madrid fans seem to care more about beautiful football rather than actual success. Quote
Roberto Policano Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Marco Giampaolo should replace Sinisa at Catania. Pasquale Marino will manage Parma next season. 25 years today since 39 people died at Heysel. RIP Quote
Tim Southampton Rover Posted May 29, 2010 Author Posted May 29, 2010 Anyone know how Derbyshire did at Olympiakos this season? I know he started the season injured then came back and scored a few but after that I'm not sure. Quote
Roberto Policano Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Leece(Champions) and A.C Cesena promoted to Serie A. Back to back promotions for A.C Cesena.Champions of Serie C last season. Quote
Roberto Policano Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Luca Toni in talks with Napoli and Genoa, could sign in the next few days. Quote
Tim Southampton Rover Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 The Sunday Mail (the scottish paper) had him signing for some random Turkish side yesterday in a deal worth 2.5million for the player. Speaking of British footballers playing for random Turkish sides, Darius Vassell has terminated his contract with Ankaragucu and would like to return to Britain. Quote
Blue n White Rover Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Luca Toni in talks with Napoli and Genoa, could sign in the next few days. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! Quote
Billy Castell Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Why do Barca fans hate Jose Mourinho so much? I know he's the Real manager now which is reason enough, but did he do or say something whilst he was a translator/coach at Barcelona? P.S. I hope we don't have a look at Vassell. He has always been rubbish. Sheffield Utd or Coventry is about his level. Quote
67splitscreen Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Thumbs up or down Will he stay or has he been told it's time to move on. Quote

2k. Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Why do Barca fans hate Jose Mourinho so much? I know he's the Real manager now which is reason enough, but did he do or say something whilst he was a translator/coach at Barcelona? it could be to do with the bad feeling from the match between Chelsea and Barca in 2005 perhaps? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_Frisk Quote
Billy Castell Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Oh yes, I forgot about that. I'm not that into 'Champions' League football, so that slipped my mind. I have to say that Mourinho is great. He's his generations' Brian Clough, minus the booze. Quote
Roberto Policano Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Inter contacted Luciano Spalletti's agent last night to ask about whether he would be interested in managing Inter and whether Zenit would be happy about any approach.(one would expect not ) So it looks like they have given up on the traitor. 1 Quote
Roberto Policano Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Rafa has asked for a 4 year contract and £9 million a season,Moratti only willing to pay £5.5 million a season and offer 3 year deal,so someway to go yet before it's ironed out. Quote
Roberto Policano Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 (edited) Poor Inter! Serie A is more tactical and technical than the EPL,So he'll do a great job at Inter.Serie A suits all his strengths. And he'll be working for a proper chairman, and not a couple of cowboys. Edited June 6, 2010 by Roberto Policano Quote

neekoy Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Serie A is more tactical and technical than the EPL,So he'll do a great job at Inter.Serie A suits all his strengths. And he'll be working for a proper chairman, and not a couple of cowboys. But he is really not that tactical, I have NEVER seen him outclass a top line opposition Manager with tactical ability. PLAN A give it to Torres or Gerrard is not what I call genius. Knowing his track record though, he has ONCE AGAIN inherited a capable trophy winning squad so he will probably go and win Serie A and all the scousers will be up in arms while they are getting kncoked out in the second round of Europa Cup. 2 Quote
Billy Castell Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I agree Neekoy. Like 2005, he'll win it with someone else's squad and then proceed to sign 300 average players and leave Inter in a mess. Rafa is tactically rubbish. Plan A is to have 2 holding midfielders, two crap wingers who are probably out of position, and hope that their striker and attacking midfielder can create something. There is no Plan B, C etc. Inter have really messed up. Quote
