Hughesy Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Anyone making a trip to the roverstore at 4pm? The new legends t-shirt is out and the legend himself is there to meet fans and sign autographs. £9.99 for the t-shirt too, of which £1 goes to the former players foundation Official Site link I cant make it but if anyone is, see what Tugay's plans are and if he plans on returning to us in some coaching capacity soon.....cheers

savage8 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Can't help but think all of the 'Legends' t-shirts look a bit naff ! On a side note, did anyone buy the 100 goals of the decade DVD which is plastered all over the official site and store? Any good?

I got it for Christmas and have found the idea of watching the good times too depressing but I may give it a watch this weekend.
Roost Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I had not noticed before but the picture behind the tills at the club shop of rovers players celebrating a goal, shows an away fan clearly giving a hand gesture to the players - only at Rovers eh?? This might be old news but it made me smile
Paul Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 We went to the shirt signing. Tugay seemed pleased to be there, happy to pose for photos etc. He seemed esepcially pleased to me some of the very young fans who were there. Only Rovers could run out of medium T-shirts 20 minutes after the event started!!!! By the time we left all that was left was small.
Ossydave Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 His box? Where is that one? Well I say his box as he's been in there the past few games, in N01, although it's the one that had a few dingles in on derby day.
Brfcrule1 Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 yep I spoke to him seemed very nice he even signed my canvas print & autograph book even managed to get a picture with him he was very accomodating
stuwilky Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Well I say his box as he's been in there the past few games, in N01, although it's the one that had a few dingles in on derby day. He was in Box 2 on Weds night, he's been on his own in Box 1 a few times as well!
S15 Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Don't be suprised guys if some of you aren't allowed to sit near the boxes next season.
Rover Down Under Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 On a side note, did anyone buy the 100 goals of the decade DVD which is plastered all over the official site and store? Any good? Yes, highly recommended, Hignett is funny, esp his comment about Wendy Howard. Makes you remember how great players Duff & Jansen (and Dunn!) were and no surprises as to who wins the Top 10 goals of the decade...

Hughesy Posted February 17, 2010 Author Posted February 17, 2010 Just noticed on onerovers there is also now a Matty Jansen legend t-shirt too!
T4E Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 According to this, the Great Man has been appointed Gala youth team manager I guess this means we'll be seeing less of him around Ewood
Seggie Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 According to this, the Great Man has been appointed Gala youth team manager I guess this means we'll be seeing less of him around Ewood Blackburn Rangers Sad he won't be about as much, although it was always going to happen were he got a coaching job. Good luck to him!
Majiball Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Rovers take 9 months to do what they should have at the end of his contract.
Hughesy Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 From what I heard - Tugay wanted to do his badges elsewhere - he will be back - he has said as much to JW.
Bobby G Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 He is a future manager. I think other than Gala, he loves us as much if not more than any other club and he will only leave one of these two clubs for the other.
CaliRoverNYC Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Was in turkey last week and got alot of Tugay comments on my rovers shirt, in response I bought a Galatasaray Scarf in honor or Tugay and Brad.

I think other than Gala, he loves us as much if not more than any other club and he will only leave one of these two clubs for the other. He tends to grow this affinity with the fans of every club he plays for. I'd like to think Rangers still hold a special place with him. The fans certainly still feel the same about him.
Backroom trueblue Posted March 16, 2010 Backroom Posted March 16, 2010 Tugay a future manager? Of a cocktail bar maybe. And what makes you think he wouldn't make a good manager? you may be right, but to write him off with such certainty as you have ???
