Majiball Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 to be fair the ref just let Chimbo off with a rather naughty foul on Lucas.

Exiled_Rover Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 If Grella was always fit for selection we'd be a different team entirely. He oozes class.
HemelRover Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Chimbonda will be getting banned soon now! What did he do? Allegedly?
hollowsr Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Aye he is getting on my nerves as well. Any idea who it is? No, sure I recognise the voice but can't put a name to it
Miker Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Yeah, cos 4-5-1 has worked wonders for our away form. 4-5-1, we go 2-1 down and are going nowhere. Now we've switched to 4-4-2 we're on top, but crucially already 2-1 down. Why do we have to wait to be behind before we start having a go? In a game like this that's virtually written off why not have a go from the start, see what happens? It's not rocket science is it? Anyway, let's just hope our sudden positivity isn't too late and we can salvage something! How do I put people on ignore?
Backroom Tom Posted February 28, 2010 Backroom Posted February 28, 2010 Did the second hal kick off on time? Heading into injury time now?
hollowsr Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 What did he do? Allegedly? He allegedly did a Vieira and kicked at whilst on the ground at Lucas!
Exiled_Rover Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 What did he do? Allegedly? He got fouled from behind by Maxi.
Miker Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 to be fair the ref just let Chimbo off with a rather naughty foul on Lucas. Which is why it's ridiculous! He's letting the actual serious fouls go unpunished and ruining the game by allowing really soft fouls throughout the game.
SamTheShrew Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 how painstakingly obvious is it that we need a central midfield player who will go at the other team? grella and andrews don't know what to do when a gap opens up in front of them, so they just whack it towards the channels and onto a defenders head
broadsword Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Bit bitchy quoting someone to say that, no real need to advertise who you're ignoring. Anyway, click on your pull-down menu on the navigation bar at the top > manage ignored users.
hollowsr Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Did the second hal kick off on time? Heading into injury time now? Few minutes late its on about 88 now, also Miker go to where it says your name at top right its somewhere in there!
Hughesy Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Off goes Torres, forgot he was on the pitch....... :!:
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Looks like we are heading for a defeat, though i have to say compared to our displays against the other top four sides it has been a vastly better performance.
MarkBRFC71 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 You should have carried on watching it went in and everything You do remember we played awful when we played 4-4-2 a few months ago don't you? When was that then? The "football" we've played since BFS came has been largely awful to be honest, apart from the Chelsea semi and Bolton away (both games McDonald was in charge for - a coincidence?) and last week's second half. However, the league position says that while being completely non-entertaining, it has got to us to mid-table safety in a poor league so that's some compensation. Are the players we have capable of playing more attractive football? Undoubtedly. Could we have got more points on the board/got further in the League Cup had we been more positive in some games? I think so, yes. We just need Allardyce to maybe remove the blinkers, and come out of his shell a bit tactically. Is he capable of doing so? Time will tell but I think the players have more to offer than they are being allowed to at present.
Dan Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Why did we let Benni go and keep Roberts again?
Exiled_Rover Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 how painstakingly obvious is it that we need a central midfield player who will go at the other team? grella and andrews don't know what to do when a gap opens up in front of them, so they just whack it towards the channels and onto a defenders head Grella is quality at sitting infront of the back four and spraying passes. Andrews isn't Premier League class. End of. Waste of a shirt. And yes we've needed a box to box centre mid for about 4 years now.
Exiled_Rover Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Why did we let Benni go and keep Roberts again? 'Cos no-one would be stupid enough to buy Roberts. Di Santo should always be on before him.
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Good save by Reina that stops Samba from scoring.
dazmaz Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 (Please don't use that word again) that was a good save
Backroom Tom Posted February 28, 2010 Backroom Posted February 28, 2010 Bloody typical Rovers though to let in a weak goal just before half time to ruin our hard work
MarkBRFC71 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 How do I put people on ignore? Grow up you t1t. Just because people post opinions that you disgree with you want to ignore them. Is that the messageboard version of putting your fingers in your ears and going "la la la I can't hear you"? Part of me hopes we get relegated then people like you will fook off and jump on the United/Chelsea/Arsenal bandwagon. Football is about opinions, and you are not always right.
