I think she's joking with you mate ;)

Myself, I'd like to see us get rid of:

Brown (300k to Bradford)

Zurab (£1m QPR)

Reid (free)

Diouf (£1.45m to Galatasaray)

Andrews (£40k to Perth Glory)

Grella (£2.12m to Bari)

Chimbonda (£843k to Marseille)

OMG thats like the most stupid post ever...

Perth Glory would go up to 43k for Andrews ;)

Given our recent displays - Reid has to be let go as we dont need him & simply do not miss him. At 30k a week or whatever we should let him leave with our best wishes.

Zurab is wanted by Reading and again we do not miss him - so lets get him of the wage bill too!

See that Coyle has mentioned about taking Wilshere on loan again next season - wouldnt mind him on our wing....

IF MGP leaves, Aron Gunnarson should be an option and he could take over the long throws & free-kicks - and to be honest he does a much better job.

I trust big Sam to find another gem or two too! So far he has spotted Givet, NZonzi, Kalinic & also noticed the ability of Olsson, Jones & Hoilett.

Perhaps we could sign a cheap, experienced striker to get us some goals? Maybe another ex madrid boy?

I like the look of Kebe who plays for Reading....We're weak down the right and he seems to have some pace and scores goals....

I agree that we should be looking to the Championship and beyond for talent but from what I gather of Kebe he can be brilliant one moment and missing/frustrating the next. I could imagine him copping a lot of flak from the Rovers' fans if he were here.

Gylfi Sigurdsson could be a shout from Reading - he can't stop scoring at the moment from midfield. Also if somehow West Brom cocked things up (unlikely right now) then Dorrans would have to be looked at. He looks like he's going to be some player.

He looks quick, unpredictable(which is what we need to an extent) and quick....we've been seriously lacking a quick right sided player for ages and he can hit the net....We should do a deal with Zurab going the other way then it becomes less of a gamble....He might just need some decent coaching to get the best out of him.... :rover:

Id push the boat out and pick up one of the 3 (if WHAM go down); Parker, Behrami or O'Hara. Id love Scotty Parker here, he would be the 'Viera/Keane', we have been craving for years.

Any spare cash or anything generated look to pick up a couple of strikers, one on loan. Someone like Vela on loan (pacey and could be stuck out abit further wide) would be ideal. Try and get in a 'proper' centre foward. Someone who can head the ball and can finish would be ideal.

How about chris cohen of forest? played fairly good tonight. just a thought. maybe replace for pedersen if he's goes???

What about signing Djibril Cissé? i think he would actually what we need. got pace and can finish. a bid of 5 million pounds i think. Also think him and kalinic would work well.

You really give him credit for some odd things.

What's odd there? Some the manager has signed, others he's brought through into the squad and got them playing better than they were before. Can't see why the guy shouldn't get credit for those 2 things.

The two West Ham players would be a good bit of business. So would O'Hara. It would p*ss my former boss, whom I hate, off as well if Blackburn signed them, so even more reason to do it. I'd also have Carlos Vela here in a shot. A wonderful talent altogether.

I too wouldnt mind Vela - perhaps Vela on loan, rather than Di Santo next season?

City might be worth a look in summer too as they will no doubt sign a good few players again!

If we were to sign a right winger - then id consider Bentley coming back.....

Not sure what the LT says today but It says Big Sam issues Transfer Warning or something???

Probably more relevant in here....

Kind of makes sense. (Although I wouldnt always believe what he says - he likes playing mind games)

We are hardly flush with cash - so we just spend what we can afford. Unless we get a stupid offer for one of our players, then we wont have masses of cash to spend.

Realistically we now have a much younger squad and we have several players that should only get better with more experience - Kalinic, Hoilett, Jones, NZonzi, Lignazi, Jones & Doran.

Hopefully next season we can also see 1 or 2 more youth players push on - maybe Ramm & Hanley

We still have players who have a thing or two to prove - I.e. Grella & Chimbonda

Id be happy with another loan signing or 2, maybe a freebie (Cacau & Joe Ledley would be great) and then maybe spend the cash on 1 main signing... :brfc:

Out:

Robinson, Samba, Givet, Salgado, Olsson, Pedersen, Dunn, Nzonzi, Diouf, Roberts.

In:

Valdes, Abidal, Pique, Alves, Yaya Toure, Xavi, Iniesta, Henry, Messi, Ibrahimovic.

Next season with Barcelona's first team plus Phil Jones I really think Sam can push us into the top half.

Such as? <_<

Olsson's improvement has been great to watch and he did a good thing in getting him so involved in the first team, but he's been a player in and around the squad for a while now. Kalinic was just the deal going, rather than being something he pursued. I'm always a bit reluctant to give managers credit for finding players like N'Zonzi because the credit really goes to the scouting. I was of the same position with situations such as Hughes and Samba.

I do give Allardyce a lot of credit. It's great to see our form improve and the quality of football has as well, it's been good to watch. That doesn't mean that the criticism earlier in the season was wrong, if anything the fact that he has made the changes many of us were calling for and the results have improved along with them only goes to show how right we were. I said that building up to this summer and then the summer itself would be the key time for Allardyce and I'll stand by that. He needs to address the problems we have in central midfield and if he does that we have the components for a very good squad capable of consistently finishing in the top half.

Scouts can find as many as they want but manager has to sign them, get them playing and decide to put them in his team. Lots of players have been found by scouts only for managers to decide they don't want them, or buy them and then fail to get the best out of them.

The crucial part of any team building must start at the back, become solid there, Arsenal won the double with a solid back line and winning with 1 - 0s under George Graham

Our performances have improved and coincided with strong defensive displays which breeds confidence and allows the midfield to push up a little more and support the front man.

We are without question short of a top midfielder.
