It's not only Brown, You take a guess at every players' wage at our Club and say the club will save this much if they sell this guy. You're figures are nowhere near facts. Stop spouting your rubbish!

Ok - Il give you a marker to work figures against - James Chester (United Reserve team captain) earns 5k a week...Gallagher earned a minimum of 16k a week when with us....Adbuldah Faye @ Stoke currently earns 50k a week...now if you honestly think a experienced keeper would not be on £5k with a premier league team - then quite clearly you live in a bubble!!

Different clubs have different wage structures, so you can't compare what Stoke and United are paying their players with what we are paying ours! If that's the case why not compare what Real Madrid are paying their reserve keeper?

Lampard and Terry are on over £130K a week, that must mean Nelsen is on that much too, as well as Dunny!:wstu:

We pay big wages - not the biggest in the country, but we are within the top 15 in the English leagues..'different clubs have different wage structures' is correct - however the likes of United's youth wont be earning more than our 2nd choice keeper..now if you honestly think a seasoned pro would be on less than say £5k as a 2nd choice keeper then there is no point taking this any further.

End.

Why won't they be? Have you been to see how much each player earns? No, so you're basing your argument on mere guesses.

I never once said Brown was on less than £5k, I just found it quite amusing how you pluck out random figures.

Not worth the argument with him - he's the same one who said over and over that he knew FOR CERTAIN that Gally was on 25k per week and when finally challenged on it said that he actually didn't know for certain and that it was based on what he had heard he was making before (15k) and that he had signed a new contract.

Would love to see us go ALL out to buy Parker from west ham..

He really is a cracking cm.. N would fit in perfect

Maybe if they go down, but have heard that he's on 65K per week? And since the topic is sensitive at the moment I believe that comes from Nicko or at least a reputable source. Either way apparently we couldn't afford his wages, but perhaps we could get his teammate Noble.

I think both would be good signings and would add goals to our strikers. Cant rely on Kalinic all of the time to score goals. Cacau i seen a couple of times and looks good and scorers goals!!! Roberts should a score against but hit it straight at the keeper.

GET BOTH SIGN UP QUICKLY BEFORE OTHER TEAMS COME IN FOR THEM BIG SAM!!!!!!!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::):)

Don't really want either of them to be honest. Would rather go for someone younger and stick with developing Kalinic. I think signing these two will hold him back.

I think if we strengthen the midfield we will see a lot more from Kalinic next year. I can't believe we are not concentrating on that area again. It's needed an overhaul for more than 3 years.

Explains a lot. Ta. :tu:

Wrong again...

I knew for a fact he was on 15k - he had to play 1 more game at that stage to get his new contract - he played that game, the following week he signed a new deal. I said at a guess it would be 20k. Id be very suprised if he took a pay cut from 15k!:wstu:

We have 1 striker who and one that doesn't. We need 2 strikers in the summer. And 1 midfield player like Jamie O'Hara.

Who would you want to sign upfront????

Is he any good? havent heard anything about him!

5 British teams had representation at a Basel game last wednesday against Sion.so i just wondered if one was Rovers.

The guy who told me said Everton and Celtic were 2 of them, but he wasn't

sure who the other 3 where.

I know Sampdoria,Lazio,Fiorentina,Udinese and Siena have watched him this season quite a few times.

And several Bundesliga sides teams too,Schalke, hannover 96 and werder Bremen.

Ajax and Heerenveen had people there too.

He's meant to be very similar to Adam Johnson at City.

I haven't seen him play personally so i cannot comment on how good he is.

Erm but neither score that often...

Dindane has a record of 3 games per goal ratio over his career.

Cacau has a record of 3.37 games per goal ratio over his career.

Thats rough from what i gathered off wiki.

Surely we should be looking to sign a striker who can score goals, somthing we don't have.

Ah, the irony of the last emoticon.

You never said you guessed it would be 20k, you said you knew it was a FACT.

Stocker??? I've heard of the boy but yet to see him play Basel are cash rich though and he won't be cheap. There's one or two Utube video's, but alas they won't work for me at present.

My link

With reference to Cacau & Dindane and there lack of goals, isn't it more likely that they are partners for Kalinic. The young lad has shown he can find the positions to get the ball in the net, so with another perhaps he can be the one to bang us 10+ goals next season. I'm also wondering if the two coming in means we may see at times the formation and tactics we started the season with? I just don't see the point of investing all this time in the lad to sign another for his role, I think we may see two up top a bit more next year if we can get them both. Cacau and Kalinic could be a good partnership.

Sam'a always been good at persuading players to play for him, Cacau would be a great shout. Kallstrom as well (if his contracts really up this summer).
