Balwer Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I think that's kinda the point of the 11 o'clocker - to find out. It never hurts to try though!

ada2020 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 There's quite a bit of interesting news buzzing about transfer-target-wise [is that a word?] So I think it is only fair that there will be an 11 o'clocker tonight. News on Dindane and two other players who have been watched - intriguing stuff. So exciting!!!!
alexanders Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Oh my god. Are we starting the 11 o'clocker all ready? I will lose my job !

Iceman Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 It's funny seeing some of the posters on here putting out names like pennant and o'hara etc. I've got news for you lads and ladies WE WONT GET THEM the best we can hope for is a couple of unknown bargain signings who turn out to be decent like nzonzi. Let's not kid ourselves chaps you should all know better by now We scratched in the bargain bin for Samba, and he is more than decent. We also got Benni and RSC for virtually nothing. Pennant's career has taken a nose dive, and to say we dont or he wont be available is a bit of a joke. O' Hara likewise, with pompey going down, and him not looking likely to get game time at Spurs, there is always a chance for us. Spurs might be daft with the asking price, which is always the case, but you will never know unless we try. There are always the option to loan o' Hara for the season, so never say never.
Amo Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I'd like to see us FINALLY go for Ahmed Al-Muhammadi. He's pretty quick and would give us options in both full-back and midfield.
Hughesy Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I think Pennant has got a serious attitude problem & is over-rated - No thanks. People bang on about Barton or Diouf but he is no gentleman either....Id prefer Joey Barton - at least he would be a big improvement on what we have! Tin hat time
Darwen Rover Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Out: - Chimbonda (complete liability - £1.5m) - Reid - Grella (£2m+ and we should sell) - Andrews (£1.5m) - Roberts (£2m) - Emerton (£2m) think this guy has had better days, he's been absolutely anonymous since returning from injury. - Disanto (ret to Chelsea) In: - Pederson (sign him up) - two of: Parker (£7m) / Noble (£3m) / Ireland (£4m) - Dindane (looks likely at £2m) - Legwinski (the polish young lad) Team for next year would therefore be: Robinson Salgado Samba Jones Givet Nzonzi Hoilett Parker Ireland Ollsen Kalinic Subs: Brown Nelson Jacobsen Pederson Diouf Dindane Legwinski
T4E Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I think Pennant has got a serious attitude problem Id prefer Joey Barton Its getting too easy.

Firstly no way would Ireland go for 4 million, he's a class act and would fetch upto 15 million. Secondly both Parker and Ireland are good enough to play at a Champions league club and will most likely end up at one. The only possible target is Noble and I cant see him going for a lowly 3 million sum.

T4E Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 And make it look like you may have half a clue what you're talking about? Why would I want to do that?
Sparky Marky Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Allardyce has history with players who are a bit crazy, so I say Pennants a good move...I said it before he went to spain.
Oklahoma Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 We're allegedly watching Bruno Pereirinha. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Bolton-lead-Blackburn-and-Fulham-in-the-race-for-Portuguese-Under-21-star-article381625.html Pereirinha is a promissing player that can play in midfield and right back. He could be sold to make money for the rebuild of their team that has been a total disgrace this season. Since they want to keep Moutinho and Miguel Veloso, their star players, they have to sell someone... I would prefer Vuckevic or Izmailov (most likely to leave in the summer, probably to Russia for €6 million but probably less)
roversmum Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Im not sure, if you actually watched that season, when Mokoena was brought in. A non footballer yes, but did a solid job in front of the back 4. When Hughes brought him into the 1st team, he did what was expected of him. Moko did a much better job, than Grabbi did in the 1st season ffs. When the formation changed, thats when it was the end for the Axe. Oi, Grabbi is a legend he used to give his all up at Morecambe in the Reserves, pity it didn't come off ... Moko is a very charming man, though, I have to admit. But preferably, both in someone else's football team

News on Dindane and two other players who have been watched - intriguing stuff. Wonder who the 2 other players are. Pongolle from Sporting Lisbon (was on loan at rovers before) or Guillaume Hoarau from PSG. Was linked with him before. Maybe Kris Boyd set to sign for us possible. JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR 11pm.
imy9 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Could this be one of the two other players being watched? http://www.clicklancashire.com/sport/blackburn-rovers-fc/126458-west-ham-united-join-blackburn-rovers-in-chase-for-sporting-gijon-striker.html Mate Bilic, another 1 in 3 striker!
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Wonder if we are being linked to Janko and Zigic again, seems like every transfer window in recent years their names pop up. With our largely direct game perhaps a 6 foot 5 + striker is what Sam is looking for?

Exiled_Rover Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 - Emerton (£2m) think this guy has had better days, he's been absolutely anonymous since returning from injury. Is it me or has he lost a yard of pace since the injury? He was never the best player, always turning into trouble, but at least he got up and down the pitch very quickly pre-injury. Now I can't think of anything he brings to the team, which is a shame because he's been a great servant for the club.

Nope - I think he has been very poor all season...he doesnt seem as interested either - he always gave 110%, not seen that from him this season!
Roberto Policano Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 With regards to that Cacau fella, AC Milan have spoken to his people last week according to sources in Milan,3 year deal 2.8 million Euros a season on the table. Very odd, isn't AC Milan class in my opinion. Edin Dzeko and Luis Fabiano are their main targets, this has come out of the blue. Either way i don't think he'll be joining Blackburn.

He has been quite poor in Sporting Lisbon, spends most of his days either injured or solving private issues. Sporting just bought him so I doubt they will sell him.
