Marc Janko, Zigic, Mbokani would be a top target. It could be somebody we never heard off. maybe somebody from Scandianva or eastern europe. Just have to wait till 11pm now.

The conspiracy theory ............ Salgado missing from the awards night, not the type to miss something like that I would have thought, the link to Raul breaking today, Salgado baby sitting Raul maybe in a hotel near you. ;)

to continue the theory - he wasnt involved in the 18 who played Almeria last night... Cant see it myself although would be impressed if it was true... :)

Raul trained at real madrid training ground this morning. my source is the real madrid offical website. surely if he was going to sign for us then he wouldnt be training today.

Dont think it will be him at all, but he is out of contract at the end of season. So training at Madrid wont change a thing, until the end of the season

I think it could be a match report for the paper, not really a scout for rovers is he.

There could be a 12 o'clocker tonight - depending on the traffic on the M62 back from Huddersfield.

I hear there is now a number one striker target and there has been 'a major advance' on that front in the past few days.

It will be 1am here Nicko, it better be worth me staying up until that time. :lol:

Shockeed to find there is electricity and a phone line in Yarkshire...so a wee bonus for you.

The top target is Robert Lewandowski.

I understand that an approach has now been made to find out if he will come. Borussia Dortmund seem to be the opposition.

The price may be in the £5 - 6 million range but that is not too bad staggered over a few years.

I think the plan is to see if Rovers can get this guy before anything else. If you get him at the right price then Dindane could also come in later.

This one seems to be the priority now - and for the time being.

I don't know much about the chap, but his profile and goals record looks good and he has been watched several times.

And if the worst comes to the worst he could also be quite handy if there is a problem with the plumbing.

This comes instead of the 12 o'clocker...enjoy.

Pretty much what I expected, someone mentioned that he was talking to someone last week is that what has brought it forward.

I havn't seen much of him myself but I hear he's a good un, I think most would be happy with us going for him

On paper he would be a good signing as he is young, potential re-sale value and has a good goalscoring record. How succesful he would be if he comes depends on where he will play, is there enough money to improve our midfield etc. I can't see Sam changing his system but looking at players like this gives me some hope. He isn't a winger, he isn't a 6 foot 5 targetman, he is a goalscorer. He could be a very good partner for Niko.
