Steve Moss
Article also mentions us looking at Gregory as well.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gr%C3%A9gory_Arnolin a center back? lol Strange, personally I am guessing the journo knew our scout was there and is rough guessing who we where looking at.. Only makes sense if the rumors linking Jones to Arsenal have some substance (or if Sam has buyers for Lars or Chimbonda). Our defense is pretty good and the trick will be to keep it intact over the summer so we can focus on other areas.

deryck guyler's spoon
I just have a feeling the dindane deal won't get done and he'll end up at the likes of bolton That would be a ding dong do.
Ricky
Good goal from dindane yesterday. Would be a decent addition to the squad, scored more than any of our forwards in a weaker team.
nicko
Nicko- is is true that Dindane can buy his contract up and if so how much would it cost? That won't happen. left back linked with us http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/800929/ROVERS-RUN-THE-RULE-OVER-CANELLA.html Rovers will be linked with a few players in Spain...there is a scout now living over there and taking in all sorts of games. Canella is ok but is being offered everywhere. Gregory Arnolin is not good enough. I just have a feeling the dindane deal won't get done and he'll end up at the likes of bolton or Stoke Dindane will be talking about a move with another club tomorrow...neither of the two mentioned above. Veevs
Wow didn't realise Joe Cole is likely to be on a free this summer.. alas no chance we would break our wage structure for him, nor would he be interested...even if he would be a near perfect addition. Interesting that we have a scout actually living in Spain, do you know if he has any specific targets?
nicko
Interesting that we have a scout actually living in Spain, do you know if he has any specific targets? No, just a remit to find players who cost little money and would take low wages... There is one living in France too.

darwenblueswearehere
No chance. Couldn't afford his fee or wages. I'm not sure that's entirely true Nicko. Depends on which players Celtic get rid of. Their contributions to Kamara and Keane's wages alone adds up to a few bob. They have plenty of strikers to offload from their wage bill (apart from the two I've mentioned there is Samaras & Fortune, neither of whom have set the heather on fire and both of whom are earning big). I do accept that it would be putting most of their eggs in one basket though, if they went for someone at Dindane's price. Celtic's wage bill is ridiculously high for the league they operate in. chaddyrovers
Wonder if Wolves and Birmangham are the club interest in Dindane? I still thonk he would be a good player for rovers. Would be a good partner for Kalinic.

John
Love the way we get linked with players who cost £8 million - that's two seasons transfer budget for us. Hate to say it, but got a feeling someone is going for come in for Samba this summer

Hate to say it, but got a feeling someone is going for come in for Samba this summer You could be right there, The "I saw nothing" French whinger might come sniffing. And when he does, Sam should tell him to take a running jump or even better give us a ridiculous amount like £20 Million.

Iceman
Cant believe how people, think that if we sold Samba that we will see any of that money. Its the same old story, sell for big money and replace with a cheap option. Unless Samba wants to leave, i cant see Sam selling him, knowing that he wont be given all that money. Commondore
Shabani Nonda is, to my knowledge, still unattached after scoring 16 goals in his last season at Galatasaray. On a free transfer (although he does strike me as someone who would want very high wages) he surely wouldn't be a bad deal?
