Excellent news.

And Sam has slapped a 10 million price tag on Jones.

And Bolton are apparently releasing Ivan Klasnic, with Sam interested in picking him up.

I wonder if the Kalinic and Klasnic would be more effective together based on their time spent with the Croation National Team?

Sounds more like a comedy duo...

So a Serb, a Croat and a Bosnian walk into this bar...

Lancashire Telegraph report that Rovers are going to miss out on signing Dindane, Bolton are in for him and are set to sign him.

...what the hell is this? And what about all the news that we didn't have to sell anyone anymore and our finances are ok?

In terms of benefiting the first team, we have absolutely never gotten anything good out of selling our top players. In fact it has almost gotten us relegated a number of times.

This is illogical on all fronts. And this will spark another debate where people will go on about how much we should be jumping with joy that we get to be in the Premiership, and that we "can't do anything if a big club comes in for a player"...but this is unacceptable. This is not what football should be about.

I hate modern football so much it's unreal.

Yeah that's the name, he still play for Betis ?

Yes, he does, 14 goals in 41 games for them according to Wiki.

But for God's sake, some of you need to learn to READ articles before jumping on a sensationalist headline! Read the one about Sam putting a £10 million price on Jones- he says no such thing!!!

It is also a re-hash of an interview that happened BEFORE Jones signing a new 5-year deal.

yes,he's scored 8 goals in 25 league games.

Betis were asking £10 million for him even after they were relegated. So he never got his move.

Betis are struggling too, doubt they'll come back up.

Just heard Gojko Kacar available for around £4.5 million after Hertha's relegation.Patrick Ebert £2.5 Million.Arne Friedrich £3 million.Steve von Bergen will leave on a free.

Raffael,Adrian Ramos and Fabian Lustenberger can leave too.

Cant say i'm too disappointed to here this yet signing Ledley makes for a sensible signing all round.

We'll have extremely stiff competition for Ledley. Mostly from Everton by the sounds of it.

Depressing to read Jones virtually being offered out.

Or maybe its a reality we have to get used to.

Lets get one thing straight - Rovers have not set a £10m price on his head - that story was done before Jones signed a new deal - he simply stated that Smalling after 4 games was worth £10m and therefore that sets a benchmark - which is common sense.

The 5 year contract has given us massive security - Jones wont be leaving anytime soon & if he does, it will take much more than £10m. He isnt being 'offered out' - its just the press making it sound like that!

As for Dindane, not sure if its true as Bolton are also being linked with Beattie - either way Im sure if we wanted him, then we would have signed him by now.

It seems that we are at that annoying stage where all the transfer targets are apparently going to other clubs, which will be irritating, but nothing being finalised. So then we get the impression we are missing out without anything being sealed.

I think we can look forward to a summer of rumours where every player we get linked too, is also linked with Wolves, and possibly Bolton!

Somen Tchoyi.

Somen Tchoyi

If I am not wrong Somen has played for Odd Grenland and Stabæk in Norway and was instrumental in Stabæk winning the league. He is a central midfielder with decent pace and technique - however he is 27 years old and I don't think he is good enough for the Prem.

After watching them in the flesh against Nurenberg earlier this season, I wouldn't give £4m for the entire squad, my god they where awful!
