Does the fact that we failed to sign a striker affect the club's or Syed's plans.

Yes - the plan was to let the trust buy one....as they couldnt be arsed he will now buy Torres for us in January :P

if you take into consideration also, that any new potential bidder, will have to be evaluated 1st, informal talks i presume would happen then, and then all other formalities would have to take place. you look at between 6 and 8 weeks of talks, including DD and doing the Fit and Proper test. Syed is way ahead, and he will know this. Its now up to him to go on and complete the formalities, and buy the club.

Its just the trust saying they would like to evaluate all potential new owners 1st before a decision....Just hope they dont turn it into a bidding war & lose out on a good deal for us!

This is without doubt the most exciting time to be a Rovers fan since Mr Walker first pulled out his Chequebook.

Good times ahead.

Enjoy the moment.

Very intersting times. Since Sam Dingle couldn't help but blow his cover when the bad news from Bahrain became public last week it's a fair assumption that he is looking in.

Still enjoying watching us "make tits of ourselves"?

I don't know about that. The Souness days were pretty exciting, when we had Jansen, Cole, Dunn, Duff, Tugay, played some exhilarating football, won a trophy and qualified for Europe. I'm gonna wait till the takeover's signed on the dotted line before I dare to dream.

Heard that WGA will be releasing a statement into tomorrows Telegraph stating that due diligence is not complete.

Not sure where you have heard that from...

They only have nine days left regardless...

Agreed. Best football at EP since 94/5.
