Excellent. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Goldberg.

(I realise that this could be smoke and mirrors from the Syed team, but I'm happy they have gone on the offensive).

The billion dollar loan from a 'related party' was Mr Ali putting in his own money then.

Note 11 says 'Loan from a related party represents amounts introduced by one of the shareholders of the Company to finance the investment activities of the Company.'

Note 15 actually confirms it was Ahsan Ali Syed that put in $1,089,000,000.

Where did he come by that then? I've tried long and hard and not managed to come up with even the tiniest fraction of that amount.

A big coupe for this site that they decided to release this statement to us before any other media outlet. This is just the start they are VERY confident that they can refute every inaccuracy with evidence to the contary.

Glad to see that they are so confident, they obviously respect and trust you kamy to give you the scoop first.

do you think he can complete the deal in 7 days or is this about to get messy...

Imy it's not me that they respect it's you guys. They read this thread and have seen that many tremendous contributions in here, this gives BRFCS credibility in their eyes hence they are willing to talk to us.

I hope they can refute each point convincingly. I want to dare to dream again. I don't like feeling negative and suspicious.

I think by my reckoning from the figures provided that that's nearer the mark.

I'm still working on the assumption that he has wealth of around £8bn. It's more exciting that way.

Where did I say Lahore was in India?

D'oh!

Did Syed actually state that he went to the "London School of Economics", or did he just state "LSE"?

He could well have gone to the Lahore Sect of Eel-catchers.

With all due respect explain that one to me then? D'oh!!!!

But wasn't one of the University's he attended referred to as being abroad?

He is Indian therefore the LSE reference could relate to Lahore, as it's a different country.

Your pedantic hat has fallen off.

Fantastic news - top work Kamy....

If they like to listen on here - then sue the BBC syed, nobody likes us, we dont care :P

Best thing he could start with could be a copy of his actual law certificate to prove a point.

Didn't know you answered on Bryan's behalf, typical yorkie sticking your nose in where it's not wanted. :wstu:

I can't begin to imagine the hue and cry that would ensue on here if Bucky replied in similar vein! :o:lol:

I don't answer on Bryan's behalf. I just thought your post was incredibly condescending ("With all due respect explain that one to me then? D'oh!!!!"), and you weren't even correct.

I can't begin to imagine the hue and cry that would ensue on here if Bucky replies in similar vein! :o:lol:

Indeed. I'm not even from Yorkshire. I'm an economic migrant from East Lancs.

"A report by the BBC's 5 Live Investigates team has accused Syed of leaving a trail of unpaid debt when he lived in England between 2001 and 2005. These include a failure to settle a £61,500 county court judgment made against him in 2007, unpaid rent of approximately £7,800 on a London flat he vacated in May 2005 and unpaid council tax totalling £932.25."

Does that mean if he takes over that when he appears in the directors box for his first home game and is stood waving to the adoring masses on the Blackburn End and taking their adoration that we might be treated to the unedifying sight of our owner having his collar felt before being 'cuffed and led away by the local plod?
