We seem to have two topics of discussion going on here,Hughsey with his fixation of our shirt sponsorship deal. The rest trying to connect this facebook chap to Mr Syed.

Anyone thinking he is the mystery bidder, Nicko is this the name your working on.

Can't be can it?

Or one of the moneyman behind the Saurin Shah bid perhaps (if the IPL links mentioned earlier are correct)

Whoever he is he is making himself look like a right tool. Either that or how businessmen conduct themselves has degraded to a stunning degree.

If he is connected to Shah then I am delighted that his bid is floundering.

It seems he cut and pasted his reply elsewhere on that Facebook page. So here it is pretty much...

"Mr Syed has to pay me' date=' as I was requesting WGA Bahrain till date to refund our money back. Since Aug 2010 we came to know Mr Ahsan Ali Syed is in Bahrain WGA, and we requested his Manager Mr Omer Khan, to ask Mr Ali to refund the funds as it... is been almost 8 yrs now, I paid him in year 2002. But Mr Khan told me that he will pass my message to Mr Syed owner of WGA Bahrain. After that I tried many times to contact WGA Bahrain but no answer."[/quote']

It seems very strange that this guy would rely on the BBC to "get his money back." Add to that that he's flooding their Facebook page with quite strong allegations. Even more strange that 5 Live Investigates are allowing him to post what he likes without any evidence to back it up. And removing other posts that are questioning Ali Syed accusations.

by removing the posts, the BBC look like they are on the back foot, or trying desparately to cut out any further problems. If Syed comes out all guns blazing, then the BBC team could be in for a real shocker.

The posts that are potentially problematic, by this Harsh Jein guy, have not been removed.

The only thing they have removed is my questioning of this Hersh fellow, which was a polite question and his answer consisted of a regurgitation of his other postings (as I said his other postings remain intact). And they also removed another posting (by someone else) regarding the McCabe takeover. Someone reposted the question, and now they've answered it.

Very odd.

I too questioned something 5 Live had written last night. Nothing nasty or untoward, just a simple question. Which was subsequently removed within minutes!

I wasn't even questioning 5 Live though. I just questioned this Hersh fellow's allegation with what I thought was a reasonable question.

So they obviously don't want anyone questioning those who may have anything bad to say about Ali Syed it would seem. Yet those with bad words for Ali Syed are allowed to post what they like.

I'm sure if your owed that sort of money and you know where the bloke is, you'd be catching the first flight out there instead of making phone calls.

Something that has bothered me since the first allegations were made, and now more so with Harsh Jain:

If I was a con artist, and I managed to con a landlord for a good few grands worth of unpaid rent, then disappear oweing a CCJ, and even pocketing 900k of any currency off an individual...

Would I not use a false name? Especially if I am leaving a "trail of debt"? And even more so if I am trying to pull a long con in the eye of the media? I certainly wouldn't be drawing attention to myself in the manner Ali Syed has been.

Or would that be a double bluff?
