Let's not get too carried away here guys, I think some of you are assuming Syed is going to come back with something that rubbishes everything 5Live said when all Julia Thiem claimed was that there were 'inaccurracies and misunderstandings' which could mean anything from it all being lies to the basic facts being correct and just the figures in dispute.

Hmm, Mr Jain said...

"From Lower Middle Class Family in Hyderabad GBP 300 per month in 1999 to this level of showing GBP 9 Billion assets in 10 years."

And yet he is also claiming to have lent him hundreds of thousands of pounds in 2002 (just two years after he 'knew' Syed was only worth £300 a month), so either he's an idiot ot a liar....

Probably both.

Judging by his posts the idiot label is fitting.

Bunch of crap in my opinion.

As we've been on an extended holiday weekend here in the states---- I've have just now read the last 15 pages to catch up (just on that past 3 days worth of postings). My head is spinning and doing all sorts of somersaults, where's my aspirin???

to quote Nicko's words ' I think I'll go have a lie down'.

And I thought the transfer window was dull...

Just one thought for the day.

How long does it take to make a full and proper denial?

It can't be THAT difficult.

And if somebody could explain where that 1 BILLION dollars came from that would be a help too...that is still the real question for me.

There is a bit of a buzz that there could be some sort of statement in the near future...that's not a tease for an 11 o'clocker by the way...

No point in guessing what could be coming out.

But Syed will surely want a quick resolution before the clock ticks down much more. He also knows about rival interest and that must sharpen his mind too.

And there is the Premier League 'test' which may have to be done before the exclusive period is over...although I am willing to stand corrected on that.

Had a look at the 5 live investigages facebook page. Didn't seem massively cutting edge - and seems like a fair few posts have gone as well. But then there are very few stories the bbc have done a full exposure on.

Not sure what to think of this. In my experience pretty much all business people have done dodgy/creative deals, and the line between clever business strategy and illegal business strategies can be somewhat blurred. I'd be suprised if there was no dirt anywhere on him, although whether this ventures outside of normal business practice is dubious.

However, I do wonder how much this is anti-rovers. I mean, there seemed to be less fuss, by that I mean negative publicity, about the Thai takeover of City, Abramovich at Chelsea, or any of the others either.

Maybe it is too good to be true, maybe it isn't. I'm pretty sure the footballing world - espeically the media - are hoping that it is.
