Glenn Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 It does seem like somebody is reading this thread and tidying up your findings as they come up, so can I recommend that if you find anything good, you screenshot it (rather that copy and paste) so we have lasting evidence in case we end up in the middle of a slanging match.

BPF Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Amazing. I just had a post removed, fifteen seconds after posting it. Impressive.
Pete1981 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Amazing. I just had a post removed, fifteen seconds after posting it. Impressive. It seems to me that if your not backing the BBC then they will remove any post that is against them
rebelmswar Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 It seems to me that if your not backing the BBC then they will remove any post that is against them My wifes posts, not mine Ste dont beat me, are still there.
Henwah Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Amazing. I just had a post removed, fifteen seconds after posting it. Impressive. Apologies if this sounds daft - but the posts being shown vary depending on whether you select '5 live investigates + others', '5 live investigates', or 'just others' at the top of the page - just checking you'd noticed that in case the posts are still there but not displayed under the section you are in?
ewoodpo Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 My wifes posts, not mine Ste dont beat me, are still there. Reb married noooooooooo !!!!!
brian_gallagher85 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 On the subject of them disappearing within a few seconds, I'd imagine that it's as much a fault with Facebook as them removing them.
rebelmswar Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Reb married noooooooooo !!!!! Yeah you missed the boat on this awesomeness.

Nope, I can only speak for my own post that was removed but it has definitely been deleted. I checked and double checked before reporting back here. As for it being potentially a problem with Facebook. My post was on there for about 20 minutes before it was removed. There is definitely an agenda in place there, I'm gobsmacked actually that they are doing it so brazenly. If a tabloid did this I wouldn't bat an eyelid, but the BBC

It had certainly been deleted.
Tarka Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 It's not only facebook he spams on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:HVJAIN The Harsh Jain page has already been 'speedy deleted' as Wikipedia says ...
booth Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I've just noticed another post has been removed where someone asked if it could be a different Ali Syed Harsh Jain banned as a "sock puppet" on wiki, what the hell does that mean?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I still don't understand why everybody is jumping to Mr Syed's defence and slagging off 5Live as if Syed is already our chairman. Surely their investigation is doing us a favour by finding out whether our potential new chairman is fit and proper to run our club. All they have done is raised some issues which they found whilst investigating him. Until Ahsan Ali Syed can prove that he has the money, isn't a liar and can help our club, I think we should all remain cautious over him. It still sounds too good to be true.

Henwah Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Not being a businessy type I have no idea what most of this means or if it uncovers anything we don't already know, but I've not seen this linked on here previously so thought i'd post it in case it means something to anyone else and is of interest - http://www.moic.gov.bh/CReServices/inquiry/DisplayReport.aspx?cm_cod=140745

I'm sure the fact that he has got to this stage is making it pretty clear that he really does have the cash. The Trustees haven't been overly keen on letting anyone else get to this stage.... There must have been something about him which granted him due diligence.
67splitscreen Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 That is (Syed's) WGA incorporation info. PhilipI posted a few days ago.

I agree, but why are 5 live removing posts from concerned Rovers fans on Facebook. I can understand them removing trolling but the posts they are removing are only from enquiring Rovers fans. This is what's generally getting peoples backs up. For example they've removed a post which asked whether the Syed they investigated was definitely the Syed that wants to take over BRFC. Instead of replying, they removed it. What's that about?
John Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Just a re-hash of old news/stories, but loving the headline... Blackburn Rovers consider dubious US$460 million takeover bid
slough_rover Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I've been away for a while and have heard rumours about Mr Syed's supposed unpaid debts. Just wanted to know have his people sent out any type of rebuttal or explanation?
jodrell Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Harsh Jain banned as a "sock puppet" on wiki, what the hell does that mean? The default position on Wikipedia is that editors who register should edit using one account only. The purpose of this policy is to forbid deceptive or misleading use of multiple accounts and to explain where editors may legitimately use a second (alternative) account. A second account used in violation of this policy is known as a sock puppet. Looks like Harsh Jain is the conman?
rebelmswar Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Harsh Jain or whatever he/it is has scrubbed their Facebook page.
