but alan would the rovers men sell to the indians and are there still intrested in buying the club and wat about any new signings any news then nicko

Let's see if they show the money, say where it's from and what their plans are...

If this group are wealthy, then that should not be a problem.

If not, then it won't happen.

If they have got money and Rovers won't sell to them, then that would be rather odd.

If you repeat that in front of a mirror, Emile "Tha Candyman" Heskey will appear. At least that will get him out of the starting 11.

Just saw over on the official site the following:

Word has it online (rumour) that the Walker Trusties have rejected the interest from Mr Shah, as he couldn't garentee the full volume of cash himself needed to buy the club and move it forward. Apparently the group backing him to buy the club included a 'large' number of family members, and that Mr Shah himself isn't actually that rich, and the possiblities for future problems were to large. Seperately i have read online that as little as a year ago, Mr Shah was encountering money issues during the recession that was effecting his business.

There are apparently more parties interested, but obviously not as vocally as Mr Shah. Seems like maybe his whole declaration of interest was a publicity stunt designed to get him interest Internationally and that the chances of any deal going through were pretty much nil. Disappointing, but to be expected.

Which official site is this? www.rovers.co.uk?

I cannot find any news on there relating to the takeover, or are you refering to the blog www.roversreturn.net/ which is not an official site, it is just a fan blog.

Not saying the deal hasn't fallen through, just trying to gauge where you got your info from.

The official rovers boards. A pasted a posters post from there on here. Interesting if true though wouldnt you say?

Well yes, it is interesting if true, but that comment has been doing the rounds for a day or two now.

Given that the potential buyer has gone public on his interest and the club has publicy acknowledged his interest, it seems likely to me that Rovers would also have gone public by now if he was full of hot air. Ofcourse they may very well do that shortly.

Just my opinion on the matter.
