Lancashire Telegraph reports that Mr Shah has come across this week and further talks have taken place. At the moment his bid has not been accepted. There are also other interested parties. Sam would like this resolved quickly.

There are two 'live' bidders - the Indians and the Thais.

It does appear that a bid will be made very shortly and then it will be up to the club to sell.

This process is definitely gumming up the transfer works.

I have to say there seem to be leaks to suggest that there is some worry about the people involved in the bids and a bit of black propaganda being put out by some...only they know their reasons.

This could develop very fast now. It has to, for everybody's sake.

as in AVOID

Are the Shahs so naive that they don't realise the problem?

Exactly what do you know of him? Any dealings with him? Anything at all concrete on him that is sufficient to suggest the chap is dodgy?

I was suspicous that there are people "creating" stories to tarnish the bid(s), hence why I questioned the quotes made yesterday by other posters. The club will tell us what we need to know, when we need to know it.

Lets hope something happens soon then, one way or the other.

Neither of the bidders would want a bidding war, propaganda is the best weapon to avoid this, discrediting one or the other by an anonymous leak works wonders to put doubt in the minds of the trust.

Shame we don't have a bit more info on the Thai bid, not even a name to go on. Always nice to no the runners and riders, before placing the bet. ;)

Not "three" live bidders, Nicko?

Have you never heard of the 'three bidder rule'?

I know of two. That does not mean there could not be more.

The word is out that this is serious, so perhaps those who have hung around and kicked tyres in the past will emerge.

Very interesting times.

Just feel that there is someone doing their financials in a quiet sort of way.

The Indian group and the Thai guys are the two I know of who are sniffing around.

There are hints that someone else may be lurking. There have been a few hanging about in the last year, so you never know.

Intriguing. Hope they get on with it.

You have to say Rovers is an attractive buy for someone with money. It's not THAT expensive.

You are never going to get rich with it, but it could be a worthwhile exercise if you want it for the right reasons.

I saw Bill Gates shaking hands with John Williams outside Ewood before.

It struck me as odd.
